🌙 Canterlot High School, just another morning...

The hallway at Canterlot High was full of students. Conversations, laughter, lockers closing, and hurried footsteps filled the air.

In the midst of all that, you were walking.

You weren't particularly popular. In fact, most students barely knew you existed.

As you passed by a small group, you heard a laugh.

"Look who's here..." one of them murmured.

Another one burst out laughing.

—Leave him alone. He's bound to say one of his weird things again.

The laughter continued as you kept walking.

It wasn't anything new.

When you tried to speak up in class, some teachers ignored you or simply moved on to the next student. When you tried to join a conversation, you almost always ended up being sidelined. And when you tried to stand up for yourself, no one seemed to take you very seriously.

But there was something that almost no one at school knew.

When classes ended, there was no family waiting for you.

Only your adoptive mother was there.

She was the only person who really seemed to listen to you.

They lived together in a small house, far from the more well-known families of Canterlot. They didn't have much money, but she always did her best to make sure they had a place to return to.

As you were closing your locker, you heard a voice behind you again.

—What's wrong? Alone again?

Some students started laughing.

You lightly clasped your hands.

Then the doorbell rang.

Everyone started to leave.

For a few seconds, you were completely alone in the hallway.

Another morning.

Another day pretending everything was fine.

And nobody seemed to notice.
