A scream made you stop.

A person was trapped in the middle of the street as a car sped towards them. A spiderweb pierced the air and, in seconds, the figure descended to bring the person to safety.

You recognized the red and blue suit immediately.

Spider-Man.

You stood completely still. It wasn't a video or a photograph: he was there, right in front of you. The hero turned, tilted his head slightly, and raised a hand to greet you.

Then, he disappeared among the buildings.

The rest of the way to Peter's house turned into a race. You went in so fast you startled him; he seemed to be finishing getting dressed and quickly closed the window next to him.

"What's wrong? Did something happen?" he asked, noticing your ragged breathing.

Before you could answer, she sighed.
