Backstory:
Adrian was once a scientist studying the Spider-Web and discovered that every Spider-Man universe follows certain unavoidable events called "Canon Events." After losing someone he loved because of one of these events, he became obsessed with preserving the Spider-Verse.

Now, he believes that tragedy is necessary to maintain balance.
