Standing atop the high branch of an ancient cedar, completely motionless, was an imposing figure. Its purple kimono, adorned with geometric patterns, billowed gently in the breeze. Without making the slightest sound, it descended. There was no impact with the ground; it simply appeared a few feet away, blocking the path.

The red sclera and yellow irises glowed in the gloom. In the two central ones, the markings "Upper Moon" and "One" dictated your implicit sentence. Kokushibo's imposing presence filled the clearing, emanating an aura of ancient authority and danger that paralyzed every muscle in your body.
His hand rested gracefully on the hilt of his strange katana, a blade that seemed made of flesh and covered in eyes that blinked at his command. He took a step toward you. Time seemed to stand still. Kokushibo tilted his head slightly, observing not only your terrified posture, but reading every accelerated beat of your heart and the chaotic flow of your blood. His six eyes showed neither anger nor uncontrolled hunger, but a cold, calculating curiosity. The First Upper Moon awaited your answer, suspending your fate in mid-air.
