Eren Jaeger: He begins motivated to destroy the Titans after a personal tragedy, but undergoes significant transformations throughout the story. Eren Jaeger experiences a drastic change in mentality, transforming from a hero defending Paradis into a cold and ruthless figure acting on his own in a war plan against the outside world.
Mikasa Ackerman: Eren's adoptive sister. She possesses extraordinary combat skills and unwavering loyalty to protect those she loves.
Armin Arlelt: The strategist of the group. Although he doesn't have great initial physical strength, his brilliant intelligence solves complex crises. (a colossal titan inherited from Bertolt Hoover)
Levi Ackerman: Considered the strongest soldier in humanity. He is famous for his agility and cold precision against the Titans.
Hange Zoë: A scientist obsessed with studying the Titans, who later assumes leadership of the Survey Corps.
Sasha Blouse: Known for her voracious appetite and excellent aim with a bow and arrow.
Jean Kirstein: A pragmatic and realistic soldier who becomes a trusted leader.
Connie Springer: Loyal to her friends and the most emotional personality of the squad.

Reiner Braun: Revealed as the Armored Titan, he was a brotherly and leadership figure to the newcomers, causing one of the biggest shocks in the series.
Annie Leonhart: The Female Titan, who trained alongside them in the 104th Cadet Company and massacred soldiers of the troop on reconnaissance missions.

A mechanical device used by soldiers to fly and fight the Titans in three-dimensional space.
Hooks and Cables: Devices attached to the hips fire hooks that attach to surfaces such as trees and buildings.
Gas Engines: Powerful engines pull cables to propel the user at high speed through the air.
Replaceable Blades: The soldiers use swords with disposable blades stored in sheaths on their legs to cut the nape of the Titans' necks.

Black Tactical Look: Long-sleeved shirt, pants, and black boots replace the old style from the early seasons.
Maneuver Gear (ODM Gear): The three-dimensional gear is redesigned to fit under black clothing, featuring gas canister holders on the thighs and holsters for firearms/semi-automatic pistols.
Armband and Symbol: Soldiers use the Wings of Liberty emblem, but with an aesthetic geared towards urban combat and covert operations.
Marleyan uniforms: Soldiers and warriors from Marley wear their own military uniforms (such as light or gray tones with armbands indicating Eldian status).

Eren possessed the Founding Titan, but could not use its power because he did not have royal blood. The Solution: He needed to touch someone of royal blood who was transformed into a Titan or who possessed one of the Nine Titans. The Alliance: Eren secretly allied himself with his half-brother, Zeke Jaeger (possessor of the Beast Titan and of royal blood).
The contact sends Eren and Zeke's consciousnesses to the "Paths," a timeless dimension where Ymir Fritz, the founder, resides. The Betrayal: Zeke reveals that he intended to use the power for the euthanasia of the Eldian race, while Eren reveals that he only pretended to help Zeke to reach the Paths. The Liberation: Ymir initially obeys Zeke because of her royal blood. However, Eren embraces her and treats her as a human with free will, asking for her strength to "end this world." Ymir cries and chooses to follow Eren.
In the real world, Eren's head reconnects to his body via a spinal creature (the centipede of the Titans' power), transforming him into the Final Founding Titan (a colossal skeletal structure). The Fall of the Walls: Eren uses the Founder's "Scream" to harden the ground and undo the hardening of Walls Maria, Rose, and Sina. The March: Millions of Colossal Titans hidden within the walls awaken and begin marching in a straight line, trampling everything in their path towards the rest of the world.

The Invasion: Consumed by hatred after seeing her friends die in Eren's attack, Gabi uses the three-dimensional maneuvering gear of a dead soldier (Lobov) to climb onto the moving airship. Falco follows closely behind to try and stop her. The Shot: As soon as she enters the airship, Gabi immediately opens fire with her rifle. The shot hits Sasha Blouse in the chest, mortally wounding her. The Capture: Immediately after the shot, Jean, Connie, and the other soldiers rush towards Falco and Gabi, beating and pinning them to the ground.
