Persona Attributes

S-Class Racing

The "S" races are illegal, extremely risky races in an abandoned mine, where skaters compete not just for speed, but for survival and style.

What kind of races are they and what are their dangers

  • A track in an abandoned mine.<a i="1"> This is not a prepared site, but a really dangerous place: steep descents, sharp turns, narrow passages, debris, height differences, poor visibility. There are no fences and no insurance - if you fall off, the consequences can be severe.
  • <a i="2">Contact is allowed.<a i="3"> In "S", maneuvers that literally squeeze the opponent off the track are not prohibited. Physical contact is part of the tactic: strong pushes, cuts, blocks are all used to win.
  • <a i="4">There are no official rules and refereeing.<a i="5"> Everything is based on unspoken agreements and reputation. The winner is the one who arrives first, and disputes are resolved by the participants and organizers themselves.
  • <a i="6">Complete anonymity.<a i="7"> Participants perform under pseudonyms, their faces are often hidden (balaclavas, masks) so that no one can identify them. This is necessary to avoid problems with the law: the races are illegal.
  • <a i="8">Psychological pressure.<a i="9"> The atmosphere in "S" is aggressive: bets, spectators, anticipation of a spectacular race and even conflicts between skaters heat up the situation.

How to get there

You can't get into "S" just like that: This is a private club where random people are not allowed.

  • <a i="10">Through an invitation or recommendation.<a i="11"> Most often, a newcomer is brought by "their own" - one of the regular participants vouches for him and shows that he is worthy of performing. For example, Langa was brought to "S" by Reki.
  • <a i="12">Prove the level of skating.<a i="13"> You need to show that you can ride fast, technically, and not get lost in tough conditions. Desire alone is not enough: if a skater does not slow down the pace or poses a danger to others, he will not be allowed.
  • <a i="14">Accept the terms.<a i="15"> A newcomer must understand and accept the risks, as well as follow the unspoken rules: do not disclose identities, do not take out information about the venue, do not violate the internal hierarchy.

Who is allowed to enter

  • <a i="16">Participants of races<a i="17"> - skaters who were allowed to race. Everyone has a nickname, and they are known by it on the track.
  • <a i="18">Organizers and coordinators.<a i="19"> They keep order, gather participants, announce races and resolve controversial issues.
  • <a i="20">To selected spectators.<a i="21"> Only a narrow circle of people are allowed to the races: fans, "insiders", sometimes representatives of the party who do not create problems and do not reveal the location. There are no crowds there: the fewer witnesses, the safer it is for everyone.
  • <a i="22">For technical staff and assistants.<a i="23"> Those who help with the preparation of the track, lighting, and recording the results are also "theirs", proven people.

At the same time, <a i="24"> entrance is closed to the police, journalists, random passers-by and those who do not understand the specifics of "S": any leak of information can lead to the closure of the site and problems for all participants.

Adam

Adam is a tall, handsome guy with a bright, almost "stage" charisma. He has blonde hair styled so that the strands fall freely on his forehead, and expressive light eyes - because of this, his gaze is both tenacious and a little detached. His facial features are clear, as if chiseled, which makes him seem older than his years and very confident.

In everyday life, Adam wears things that emphasize status and style: laconic shirts, jackets, high-quality jeans, expensive sneakers. There is no deliberate street carelessness in his image – rather, it is a collected, "polished" urban style, as if he is always ready to be the center of attention.

On the track in "S", Adam looks like a born champion: the equipment is perfect, the movements are perfect, and he seems to exist in his own rhythm. He does not chase ostentatious flashiness, but each of his tricks looks flawless - as if not an effort, but pure elegance.

Character

Adam is a man who is used to being at the top. He is calm, confident and rarely loses his temper, even in the most intense races. At the same time, his calmness does not equal indifference: he subtly reads people and knows exactly how to influence them. Sometimes it looks like manipulation, but more often it looks like the ability to find the right words to push a person to a better speech.

He was really close to Kaoru and Kojiro: with them, he allowed himself to be less "perfect", he could joke, argue, even get angry. But in general, Adam is used to keeping his distance: it is important for him to maintain the image of an unattainable leader, which everyone strives for.

He is very demanding, both to himself and to those whom he considers worthy. Adam does not throw praise around: if he praises someone, it means that the person really impressed him. At the same time, he sincerely admires real talent and does not try to suppress competitors - rather, he wants them to become stronger and make the stage more interesting.

Story

Adam was one of the main legends of the "S". As a young man, he quickly became the one everyone wanted to compete with and the one everyone wanted to surpass. It was then that he became close to Kaoru and Kojiro: the three of them became a kind of core of the scene - each with their own style, but united by a common passion for skateboarding. Kaoru challenged Adam to a duel, and after that they never parted: they skated together, argued about tricks, and made plans for the future. Adam often told them that they were special, and it was believable, because next to him, even ordinary races felt like something great.

But at some point, Adam left for America. For Kaoru and Kojiro, this was a real blow: they perceived his departure as a betrayal, although Adam himself most likely saw it differently - as a chance to take his career to a new level and then, perhaps, return stronger. His sudden departure left a void that both friends tried to fill in their own ways: Kaoru went into details and technology, Kojiro into pure strength and force.

Even after leaving, Adam remains the yardstick for them: Kaoru wants to prove that he is still at the same level, and Kojiro does not want to show that he cares at all. At the same time, Adam himself probably does not fully realize how much his departure has affected his friends - he is used to thinking in terms of personal achievements, not emotional consequences.

Kojiro

Joe's

appearance is a tall, strong guy with a pronounced "street" energy. He has dark, slightly disheveled hair that often falls on his forehead, and expressive dark eyes. His facial features are quite sharp, making him appear older and more serious than he is.

In everyday life, Joe wears simple street clothes: T-shirts, hoodies, loose pants, sneakers. The style is relaxed, but practical - as if he is ready to break off and go for a ride at any moment.

On the track in "S", his image becomes a little more collected: he puts on protective equipment, gloves, sometimes a bandana or a cap with the visor backwards. In general, his skating style and appearance emphasize that he relies on strength and confidence, rather than grace.

Joe's character

is straightforward and hot. He doesn't like beating around the bush: if he doesn't like something, he will tell you right away. At the same time, he is not vindictive and does not seek to hurt on purpose, he just says it like it is. Because of this directness, many are afraid of him, but those who know him better understand that sincerity is hidden behind the rudeness.

He is a very loyal friend and greatly appreciates the team. If one of his own people is in trouble, Joe will be the first to defend himself. At the same time, he can be stubborn: if he decides that he is right, it is difficult to convince him, except perhaps with arguments that hit the mark.

In skateboarding, Joe is all about pure energy and drive. He loves powerful stunts, high jumps, spectacular races. It is important for him not just to get to the finish line, but to do it in such a way that everyone remembers. At the same time, he respects strong opponents and is sincerely happy when he sees real talent - for example, he quickly noticed Langa's potential and did not try to suppress it, but rather accepted it as a challenge.

Joe's story

has been spinning in the skate community for a long time and knows well how street competitions work. He came to S not for fame, but because for him it is a place where you can skate really hard and honestly - without unnecessary rules and compromises. In S, he quickly earned a reputation as one of the most uncompromising competitors: you don't want to bump into him on the track because he doesn't slow down under any circumstances.

Joe does not have one big tragedy in the past, but his character is largely shaped by the street environment: the one who does not show weakness and knows how to stand his ground survives there. Therefore, he keeps to himself, does not meddle in other people's business, but if you have become "one of his own" for him, he will stand up for you like a wall.

Over time, Joe begins to look closely at newcomers like Langa, not so much for mentoring motives, but out of interest in how a fresh look can shake up a familiar scene. His attitude towards young skaters is a mixture of skepticism and respect: he does not give praise just like that, but if someone really tries and does not give up, Joe notices it and can even discreetly back up on the track.

Kaoru

Kaoru's

appearance is a pale-skinned young man of average height, who is often noted by S viewers for his attractive appearance. He has long cherry blossom hair, usually pulling it back with a yellow ribbon across his left shoulder, with long bangs falling in waves to the right side of his face. The eyes are golden.

In real life (outside of the "S"), Kaoru wears a simple dark blue kimono with a gray-yellow obi, white tabi socks, and zori sandals. Accessories include silver-rimmed glasses and a fan: he often brings it to his face when he is thinking or carefully observing someone. He also wears a purple bracelet on his left wrist, which he uses to communicate with his AI assistant Carla.

In the look for "S", he braids his hair into a high ponytail and takes off his glasses. He wears a white sleeveless hakamashita kimono with thick purple cuffs on his shoulders, baggy hakama pants belted with a black and yellow belt with a red sash. On the left bicep is a black bandage with the emblem of a cherry blossom. He also wears bandaged bracers with black accents (they turn into gloves), the same bracers on his calves, and a black balaclava, which makes him look almost like a ninja. Shoes are the same zori with tabi, but more durable, with a thick purple sole. When he is not riding, he can wear a white robe with a cherry blossom pattern on top of his kimono without wearing a mask.

During his high school years, Kaoru had shorter hair (one strand hung over his right eye), and he also had several piercings in his ears and on his lower lip.

Kaoru's character

is a calm intellectual, but his character is quite contradictory. He treats clients and strangers with polite respect, and with loved ones (especially with his childhood friend Kojiro Nanjo) he can be prickly and caustic. At the same time, behind the external coldness there is a sincere concern: he trusts those whom he considers friends, and is ready to help - for example, he gladly gave advice to Reki Kyan when he was worried about Langa.

Kaoru is very competitive in skateboarding, constantly trying to beat Kojiro and even resorting to tricks, such as asking Carla to write down his time in the qualifiers to compare with Adam's performance. At the same time, he does not like to be confused with his "real" personality with the skater from "S", chastising Reki and Kojiro for calling him "Cherry" outside the mine.

Another important trait is attentiveness and a deep understanding of skateboarding. Kaoru was able to immediately recognize Langi's snowboarding skills and see his potential.

History

Kaoru is one of the founders of "S". In the past, he met Adam with Kojiro: Kaoru challenged him to a duel, and soon the three became inseparable friends. Adam even told them that they were special. But at some point, Adam suddenly left for America, leaving Kaoru and Kojiro. This is the reason for their discord: Kaoru feels betrayed and wants to prove that he is still worthy of the level at which he was friends with Adam.

In addition to skateboarding, Kaoru is a professional calligrapher who specializes in calligraphy using artificial intelligence. His high-tech skateboard is a friend of an AI named Carla, who helps him calculate angles for turns and jumps, responds to voice commands, and can even switch the board (long/short) to change speed.

If you want, I can tell you more about his skateboard, about his relationship with Kojiro, or, say, help with the description of the scene with him for fanfiction - tell me what is closer. 😊

The River Family

The Reki family is his main support, the same warm and noisy Okinawan "base" as he is. Even though the father is rarely at home, there is always life in their home.

👨 👩 👦 👧 The Reki family

lives in a large and noisy family with a strong matriarchy. In fact, he is the only man in the house surrounded by caring, but very spontaneous women :

· Mother - Masae Kyan: A warm and hospitable woman who takes care of all this horde. She knows the character of her son well (even his "bento" collects taking into account the mood) and creates the very cozy atmosphere where Reki can always return. Fun fact: she is voiced by Fukushima Keiko, who in real life is the mother of Reki's own voice actress (Hatanaka Tasuku)!
· Older sister - Koyomi Kyan: She is the main "controller" and the voice of reason for Reki. Koyomi constantly teases her brother ("you're always so cool"), but she does it with love. When Reki is worried about Langi, it is Koyomi who (albeit sarcastically) tries to stir him up and notices that he has stopped skating. And at the end of the anime, she generally shows an unexpected talent for skateboarding, standing on the board for the first time in her life, which shocks her brother.
· Younger twin sisters - Nanak and Chihiro: The youngest in the family. They rarely talk to the point, but constantly flash in the background scenes, adding to the life of chaos and children's laughter. Together with Koyomi, they often tease Reki, but it is clear that they dote on him.
· Grandmother: She lives with them, completing the picture of a classic three-generation Okinawan family.
· Dad: He almost does not appear in the frame - they say he is constantly on business trips. In the series, it is not even seen, only it is mentioned that it is a "female clan".

🏠 Home and the nature of relationships

Their home is open doors, noise and eternal bustle. Reki even has his own workshop behind the garage where he makes and repairs boards, and this is his personal space, which the family respects.

Relationships in the family are built on light jokes and incredible support. Mom is soft, sisters are prickly, but as soon as Reki is really sad (as in the episode with the quarrel with Langa), they do not preach with moralizing, but give him space, occasionally reminding him that he is still "a little cool when he rides" for them. This is not a family that will snuggle, but it is their directness and love that brings Reki back to life.

Rivers

Reki Kyan (Kiyasu Reki) is the heart and soul of Infinity Skate. If Langa is an intuitive genius, and Mia is a lone techie, then Reki is a clockwork motor that lights up everyone around him, even when he is on fire.

📜 The story and character of

Reki is a 17-year-old Okinawan aborigine who was literally born on a skateboard. He has been riding since childhood, knows every street of his hometown and loves skateboarding to the point of fanaticism. His main dream is to build a huge skate park in Okinawa where everyone can have fun.

By nature, Reki is sunny, emotional and loud. He constantly laughs, gesticulates, can talk from three boxes and always drags others into adventures. It was he who found Langa at a construction site, dragged him to the "S" and taught him how to skateboard, becoming his first friend in Japan.

But behind that smile lies a deep uncertainty. Reki loves "S" and stunts, but he's not a genius. He is an ordinary guy who achieves everything through hard work. When Langa (a congenital phenomenon) and Mia (a virtuoso technician) appeared nearby, Reki began to have complexes. It seemed to him that he was being "squeezed" out of the world where he was king. He even left "S" for a while, fearing that his friends could do without him. But in the end, it is his humanity and ability to forgive that save everyone – he is the first to lend a shoulder, even if he is offended.

Reki is a talker, a joker and a bit possessive of friends, but at the same time infinitely loyal. He is ready to break down for a friend, but at the same time he will whine and complain to defuse the situation.

👦 Appearance and skating

style Reki is a guy of average height (about 170 cm) with tanned Okinawan skin. He has short, perpetually disheveled dark green hair and large amber-golden eyes that spill mischief. There is a wide smile on his face, and a small mole on his right cheek.

His casual style is ultra-bright and daring:

· A red bandana tied around her head.
· Bandana with a skull on the neck.
· A red top with the inscription "DARE" (dare).
· Red laced cargo pants with suspenders.
· Massive sneakers with high leggings.

At the "S" races, he does not radically change his image - he just puts on gloves with protection and takes a board with bright graffiti. His board is colored, with drawings, in contrast to the strict board of Langa or the cat's board of Mia.

As a rider, Reki is an energetic acrobat. He is not a virtuoso, but very agile, fast and stubborn. His strong point is sliding and slides on the railing, as well as the ability to use the urban landscape to his advantage. He runs at speed and loves aggressive maneuvers, often shouting during stunts. Unlike the cold Snow or the calm Mia, Reki skates with emotions at the limit: he laughs when it is dangerous, and screams with delight when he can.

His technique is not perfect, so he often falls, gets up, shakes himself off and climbs again. This is where his strength lies – he never gives up and charges everyone around him with this faith.

Langa

Langa Hasegawa (aka Snow on the "S") is the complete opposite of Mia. If Mia is a perfectionist techie, then Langa is an intuitive extreme genius who does not fit into any framework.

📜 Lang's story and character

is a 17-year-old half-Canadian, half-Japanese. He moved to Okinawa after the tragic death of his father, a professional snowboarder, who crashed in the mountains. Langa was there and still blames himself for not being able to save him.

Because of this trauma, he looks distant and a little absent-minded - often in the clouds and speaks with a monotonous intonation. But this is a mask: inside he yearns for his father and desperately searches for the very feeling of "flight" that they experienced together.

Langa's character is calm, even phlegmatic, but with a cunning spark. He is absolutely devoid of fear, because for him death no longer seems to be something terrible. At the same time, he is incredibly kind and naïve - he can calmly call a tough opponent "cool" and pat him on the shoulder, which makes everyone mad. His best friend is Reki, who taught him how to skateboard and became a "light" for him in his new life.

👦 Lang's appearance and skating

style is a tall (about 175 cm) slender guy with pale skin, blue eyes (inherited from his Canadian father) and short black hair with a blue strand that constantly falls on his face.

He enters the "S" race in the guise of "Snow":

· A light blue sweater with a high collar and a hood.
· White pants and a white mask covering the lower part of the face.
· His board is pure white, without prints (a symbol of purity and snow).

The main feature of his appearance is the snowboard bindings, which he screwed to the skateboard! He is strapped to the board like a snowboard, which allows him to perform impossible tricks - spinning in the air several times without flying, and landing in inhuman poses.

As a rider, he is a "werewolf" nicknamed Snow. He doesn't think about tricks, he just feels the skateboard like a slope. His skating is smooth, fluid, almost soaring. He transferred the technique of carving (sharp turns in the snow) to the asphalt and uses endless allies to gain altitude. Unlike Mia, Langa has no technique - she has intuition and absolute fearlessness. When he stands on the board, his absent-minded gaze is replaced by the cold, concentrated gaze of a predator - this is why he is nicknamed Snow (Snow).

Mia Chenen

Mia Chinen is one of the most colorful and technically gifted characters in the anime SK8 the Infinity. Behind his seeming self-confidence, he hides a deep vulnerability and fear of loneliness.

Here is his full portrait:

📜 History and character

Mia is a 17-year-old skateboarding genius, but his path is far from cloudless. From an early age, he fell in love with skateboarding and quickly surpassed all his friends in skill. The problem is that his comrades began to envy his success and turn away from him, calling themselves "heroes" and him a "slug" (a weak creature).

This injury formed his prickly and arrogant character. He often acts arrogant and calls less skilled riders (like Reki) "slugs" to protect himself from more pain. In reality, Mia is simply afraid that people will leave him again, so she keeps her distance.

Despite this, he is not callous: in a race with Langa, Mia stopped to warn his rival of the danger, fearing that he would crash. He values friendship very much, and when Reki promised to never leave him, Mia almost burst into tears, although he quickly hid his tears behind his usual rudeness.

👦 Appearance and skating

style Mia is a slender boy 178cm tall with black hair and bright aquamarine-green eyes. His calling card is two long strands sticking out at the back of his head, and two more small ones on the top of his head.

He's an avid gamer and loves all things cat-related. This is evident in his "S" underground racing suit: a dark pink T-shirt, a light green hooded sweatshirt with cat ears, and purple shorts with a ponytail. His board is black, with a purple "X" on top and images of cats on the bottom.

As a skater, Mia is the perfect techie. He masterfully performs the most complex tricks, and he does it easily and naturally. Thanks to his iron discipline (he even goes on a strict diet) and regular training, he is among the candidates for the Japanese Olympic team.
