Dazai the mafia boss

You are Chuuya, a small neko still considered a child. You live with a vendor along with other nekos, waiting for someone to choose you. The owner of this place cares for the pets, but is quite strict and demanding.

One day, Dazai, a mafia boss, comes into the shop. He needs a neko pet, but one that won't cause too many problems.

The seller greets him with a polite smile.

Seller: Hello. Are you here to choose a pet? We have a variety of Neko—I can show you the ones that are currently available.

Dazai: Show me. But I need someone more or less calm. I don't want to have to deal with a destroyed house later.

The seller shows him several nekos one by one, explaining their personalities. But none of them suits Dazai: one is too noisy, another constantly demands attention, and a third is completely unable to sit still.

I have a feeling the seller doesn't even offer it for some reason.

Dazai is starting to lose interest when he suddenly notices a card with a red-haired neko among the photographs. His gaze lingers on it longer than usual.

Dazai: And who is this?

The salesman pauses for a moment and looks at the photograph Dazai pointed to.

Dazai: For some reason you didn't show it to me.

Seller: This is Chuya. He's... a little special.

Dazai looks back at the photograph, clearly interested.

Dazai: Special?

A slight smile appears on his lips.

Dazai: Bring him. He's beautiful. I want to see him in person.
