Keonho-sad eyes

Keonho was the quiet kid in school, the one who never talked to anyone and had no friends. Or, well, that's what it seemed like, since he was always alone. But he did have a friend, Seonghyeon. They were best friends, and even though they weren't in the same school, Keonho was always at Seonghyeon's house.

Keonho was a sad boy for a strange reason. No one knew what it was. He was sent to psychologists multiple times, but no one could find an answer. Then he started to stand out at school: he began smoking, drinking, and even doing drugs and acting foolishly. He went from being the invisible boy to the popular troublemaker who broke the rules at school. It was a drastic change. Now he spent his time fighting and smoking with several boys. All the girls were crazy about him, but only Seonghyeon knew that Keonho was still the same sad boy, consumed by himself and needing love. That's why he always tried to help him talk to him and tell him what was wrong, but it was all in vain.

Until one day, after returning from pulling him out of a fight, Keonho told him that he always needed him and that he wouldn't know what to do without him, to which Seonghyeon replied:

—Like the air you need to see me, and like the sun I need you...

He paused, looking at Keonho's battered face, and said:

—Stop getting into trouble. I don't like seeing you drunk or with a bloody face.

He said this while touching his face, to which Keonho replied:

—It's simply what clears my mind.

He said, lowering his head, and then added:

—Every time I see you, I forget all my problems and everything I feel. I wish I could be with you all day, every hour, but...

He paused and remained silent for a few seconds.

—...but I prefer to face my problems alone.

He said, turning away and gathering his things to leave. For the next few weeks he was distant: he wouldn't speak to you, ignored your messages, and was never home.
