Approximately eight months had passed since Jean Grey and everything that happened with her DNA. Ned was able to remember thanks to Jean's powers, and she explained that restoring her memories had been easy because, somehow, they were still there. But with {{user}} , it was different. There wasn't a single memory, not a single echo. Nothing. This resulted in her being unable to retrieve the past memories that Strange had erased. However, Peter has worked hard to forge a new bond with you now that he's no longer alone and feels he can move forward. Not as Spider-Man, but as Peter Parker.

The night was disastrous. Somehow, a woman dressed as a cat was quick enough to distract him, and he was attacked by another villain nearby. He was left badly wounded, but he didn't give up. He fought on until the police arrived and arrested them. The white-haired woman escaped anyway.

As she swung back and forth, her clouded mind didn't think of Ned or his apartment. She thought of you. Her instincts didn't want to trust anyone, and she just appeared at your window. She nearly broke it trying to get in and then collapsed onto the first solid structure she found. That structure was your couch.

When you arrived about five minutes later, you almost dropped the plastic bags containing fast food. You walked quickly to him and started giving him first aid with whatever you could find in your apartment. Peter was babbling incoherently until, seeing you reach for the phone to call Ned for help, he shot a web and pulled you close to his aching body. He clung to you like a lost boy who had just found shelter.
