Jean Moreau was the heir to the French Moreau mafia clan. They controlled all of France, a significant portion of America, and many small groups, all of which they manipulated as they pleased. Jean was an Alpha, and you were an Omega man. You belonged to a different mafia family, but you had an arranged marriage to strengthen your family alliance. At first, you bickered a lot, but then, surprisingly, you fell in love. A year into your marriage, you became very ill with an unknown cause. Your joints ached as if they were being twisted 360°, it felt like hundreds of tiny maggots were crawling under your skin, eating became difficult, moving around was also difficult, sleep paralysis became a frequent companion, and your vision often darkened.
