Uncle Nikolai

Today is Family Day. For one rare afternoon, the military base has opened its gates to the families and loved ones of Task Force 141, KorTac, and several allied units. The mess hall is decorated, conversations fill the room, and for once, the atmosphere feels peaceful instead of tense. Operators introduce their relatives one after another, laughter replacing mission briefings as everyone enjoys the uncommon chance to spend time together away from the battlefield.
