TF141 / Kortac

Task Force 141 (colloquially referred to as "The One-Four-One") is a multinational special operations force composed of Americans, Australians, British and possibly other armed forces that usually have experience in covert operations.

Its objective is to handle black (clandestine) missions that governments cannot officially acknowledge. It operates with complete autonomy, recruiting the best special forces operatives from different countries. Its implicit motto is brotherly loyalty and doing "the dirty work" to keep the world clean.

Task Force 141 stands out for its "dysfunctional" but lethal family chemistry: Price as the father, Ghost as the silent protector, Soap as the impulsive one, and Gaz as the conscience.

John Price — Captain Price
Captain of the 22nd SAS Regiment and commander of Task Force 141.

SAS Sergeant and founding member of Task Force 141.

Former Russian soldier, pilot, informant and leader of the PMC Chimera.

KorTac is a private military company. It was founded alongside its rival SpecGru (after the death of Hassan Zyani). It operates as a special operations force for hire on international missions, with no fixed allegiance to any single government. Its operatives come from diverse military backgrounds, including former special forces and mercenaries.

KorTac has a more "dark" and pragmatic style, with members from Eastern Europe, Asia, and other places.

Nature: They are elite mercenaries hired for international tactical operations. They answer to no specific government, so they operate with greater freedom (and fewer scruples) than regular military forces.

Style of operation: Brutal and direct. They prefer overwhelming force, close combat, and aggressive tactics. They are known for being ruthless and efficient.

Morally ambiguous: Many of their operators have dark pasts (ex-criminals, torture victims, psychopaths, or deserters). They don't always follow strict engagement rules.

The Ghosts: (Task Force: STALKER)
A top-secret special operations unit of the United States Army. They have no direct relationship with Simon "Ghost" Riley.

Origin: During Operation Sand Viper, 60 elite American operators were sent to defend a civilian hospital of 500 enemy soldiers. Only 14 survived. They hid among the corpses and the sand, and then attacked so brutally and silently that the only enemy left alive described them as supernatural "ghosts." That's where the name Ghosts was born.

American operator of Shadow Company / KorTac.

Past: She grew up in the mountains of Colorado as a hunter and tracker. One of the first women to graduate from the Army Ranger School. Skilled in small unit tactics and close combat. Valeria Garza — The Nameless One.
Former Mexican Special Forces officer and leader of the Las Almas Cartel.

Past: Almost nothing is known. Reputation as a highly trained assassin whose exploits are considered legends or exaggerations. He joined the Shadow Company as a mercenary. Ex-American Ranger turned mercenary (Jackals/KorTac/Shadow Company).

Approximate age: 30-40 years. Height 193 cm (6'4"), muscular and robust build. Face always hidden by a metal skull mask; dark hair, dark brown eyes. Body marked with traditional Zulu scarification scars on arms and torso (in honor of their South African heritage).

Member of the Ghosts. Sergeant, African-American, ex-Marine Force Recon.

Approximate age: late 30. Estimated height 186 cm. Athletic build, serious face.
Personality: Loyal, resilient under torture, and proud to belong to the Ghosts. He was one of the youngest and most inexperienced members when he joined the group.

Past: Served in Force Recon alongside Keegan, with whom he formed a strong bond.
He participated in Operation Sand Viper (legendary origin of the Ghosts).
He was part of the mission in Caracas to assassinate General Almagro (2015), where Rorke was abandoned and captured.
In 2027 he is captured by the Federation (under orders from Rorke). He is severely tortured. He manages to warn his teammates that Rorke is alive and has a list of targets to eliminate all the Ghosts.

Konni Group.
Ultra-nationalist Russian private military company (PMC). It is Vladimir Makarov's main armed wing.

Origin and leadership: Founded around 2018. Commanded by Vladimir Makarov. Largely financed by Russian oligarch Milena Romanova. It is made up mostly of ex-Spetsnaz, Russian military and ultra-nationalist contractors.

Known Deputy Commanders: Andrei Nolan and Ivan "Ares" Alexxeve (deceased).

Objectives: To restore Russia's power and greatness. To take revenge on Urzikstan and the West.
Provoking international conflicts (false flag operations) to justify Russian expansion. Regain control of Urzikstan and eliminate the ULF from Farah.

Major actions: They stole the U.S. ballistic missiles from Shadow Company and delivered them to Hassan/Al-Qatala.
Makarov was released from Zordaya prison in 2023.
They carried out chemical attacks and terrorist operations.

In short: Konni is the modern, mercenary version of Russian ultranationalists, inspired by real groups like Wagner, and acts as the main antagonistic force of Task Force 141.

Russian ultranationalist leader and commander of the Konni Group.

Approximate age: 40s. Average height 175-180 cm, robust build. Short dark hair, eyes (possible heterochromia in classic versions), scarred face, cold and calculating expression.
Attire: fancy suits or Russian special operations tactical gear; often with a coat.

Personality: Extremely ruthless, strategic, charismatic with his followers, xenophobic and ready for any atrocity. Values: Restoration of Russia's power and greatness at any cost.
Motivation: revenge against the Russian government and the West, and re-establishing Russia as a superpower.

Past: Born in the suburbs of Moscow. The son of a high-ranking Soviet politician; found the body of his father hanged after the collapse of the USSR. He despised the "weakness" of his father and the system. He enlisted in the Russian army in 1998. He served in irregular forces with Barkov at Urzikstan (failure). He formed the Konni Group and led ultranationalists, using false flag terrorism to provoke global conflicts.

General Herschel (Hershel) — Shepherd.
General of the United States Army.

Approximate age: 50-60 years. Middle-aged Caucasian male, short gray or gray hair, hardened face, often with a serious or cynical expression. He usually wears a general's military uniform or high-ranking tactical clothing.

Personality: Ambitious, cynical, pragmatic and willing to cross any ethical line. He believes that "to do good you have to do something bad". In the original, he is a megalomaniac obsessed with restoring America's prestige and his own after a great military humiliation. Corrupt officer who prioritizes covering up his own mistakes and illegal operations.

Past: Commanded 30,000 soldiers who died in a nuclear explosion in the Middle East. That trauma transformed him. He created Task Force 141 and Shadow Company. He betrayed 141 to hide his links and provoke a war that would make him a national hero. He was killed by Price and Soap.

Military Past: Oversaw TF 141 operations alongside Laswell. He ordered illegal missions (missile transport) with Shadow Company. When the theft of the missiles is discovered, he orders Graves to eliminate 141 to cover up the disaster. Price executes it at the end describing his trap.

Krueger / Sebastian Krueger: Austrian. He fled to Germany to evade murder charges. There is speculation about a troubled family past or an early incident that led to violence.

Keegan P. Russ: An American, he joined the Marine Corps at a young age. Reserved and disciplined childhood, often in a military or rural American setting.

Velikan: "Shadow of a shadow." Mysterious origins (murderer from a young age, or dark military past).

Conor: He grew up during the Troubles (Ireland). His parents consciously prepared him for a harsh and unpredictable environment. He enlisted at 18. Childhood marked by political violence and the need to get tough early.

Roze/Rozlin Helms: He grew up in the mountains of Colorado. He learned to hunt and track from the age of 6 with his survivalist father. By 14 he could follow trails for miles in snowstorms. Isolated, hard and extremely practical childhood in nature.

Oni / Hiro Watanabe: Descendant of an ancient samurai clan that fell into crime. His father was already an established criminal when he was born. Grandfather constantly reminded him of the family's noble and honorable past. He ran away from home as a teenager so as not to follow his father's path. Internal conflict between the samurai legacy and the family criminal environment.

Roach / Gary Sanderson: Silent protagonist. There is speculation that there are modest or traumatic British origins that justify his silence and loyalty. In doubt.

Nikolai: Russian, former Soviet/Russian military officer. Childhood not detailed. A hard Soviet childhood (poverty, early military discipline or Cold War environment).
