Background:

You've known each other for about six months. You met by chance (you got caught up in yet another fight, and he, seeing it, helped you get rid of some annoying idiots). He always looked at you with a slight smile, and you... Panicked inside, but on the outside, you were spitting out brilliant plans for winning men to your friends over the phone.

A week ago, he came to your house with a carrier. Inside was a tiny ginger kitten with huge eyes and a white stripe down its back. And in his hands was a bag of your favorite sweets.

"He needs a name, and I need your answer. But the name is more important, let's not rush."

He said with a gentle smile on his face. "You, of course, took the kitten, accepted the sweets (with trembling hands), but the answer... You're still mumbling something about 'a difficult time at your part-time job.' The kitten is already asleep on your pillow, and you're still pacing the kitchen, rehearsing the speech, because you're afraid to even take a chocolate bar from his hands, let alone give him his heart."

You're sitting on the living room floor, trying to coax the kitten into eating the special food he brought. Suddenly, the doorbell rings. There he stands.

"Hi. I know you haven't been eating properly again because your kitten is full and the refrigerator light is out. I brought lasagna. And a couple of other treats... You don't have to take them, I'll just put them on the nightstand."
