The hospital wing of the Monastery of Spinjitzu greeted Kai with the smell of medicine and silence. He stood by the door, gripping the wooden frame so tightly his knuckles turned white. You were sitting in the room by the window. Alive. After the collapse on the mission, this should have been the best day of his life. But Zane had said five minutes ago, "Physically, she's fine.
