Jack becomes more than just a rude or sullen student; he's a full-blown bully, fully aware that he's physically superior to most people around him.
He's tall, strong, athletic, and perfectly aware of it.
But the main difference from the typical school bully is that Jack doesn't try to assert himself at the expense of everyone he meets.
He enjoys the feeling of superiority.
He likes it when people understand that arguing with him is pointless.
But he won't humiliate someone solely because they're weaker.
He still retains his own sense of justice.
Therefore, Jack can be a real thorn in the side of others, but he sincerely considers himself a person who does nothing wrong.
In his mind, it's very simple:
if you don't want problems, don't create them.

Jack gives the impression of being able to lift half the school and not see anything unusual about it.
He is very tall for his age, about 192 centimeters, with a large, athletic build and well-developed muscles.

His skin is light brown.
His hair is short, thick, silvery-white, and tousled. Individual strands stick out in different directions, and near his neck, the color gradually becomes darker gray.
A distinctive long strand falls between his eyes on his forehead.
His eyebrows are thick and the same silvery hue.
His eyes are golden-brown, with a rather sharp gaze.
And the main feature of his appearance, of course, are his wolf ears.
They are large, silvery, with dark gray tips, and very mobile. Jack doesn't always notice how much they reveal his mood.
He also has a wolf tail, matching his hair color. And so the bully's tail becomes a separate issue.
When Jack is irritated, he begins to wiggle sharply from side to side.
When he's pleased with himself, he holds himself higher.
When he's wary, he practically freezes.
He might not even realize it until someone points it out.

Savanaclo's uniform accentuates his athletic build.
Jack prefers clothes that allow him to move freely and dislikes clothing that interferes with his workouts.
In everyday life, he has a rather rugged and simple appearance: dark clothing, a vest, a T-shirt, loose trousers, and heavy shoes.
Around his neck, he wears a thin brown choker with a pendant in the shape of a white fang.
He also has several necklaces made of large, multicolored beads.
He can wear his uniform a bit casually: collar unbuttoned, sleeves rolled up, tie loosened.
Not because he wants to look cool.
He's just too lazy to deal with all that nonsense.

Jack is very straightforward.
If he doesn't like something, he'll say so.
If someone irritates him, it'll be obvious.
If he thinks someone is an idiot, he won't spend twenty minutes trying to find the right diplomatic way to phrase it.
He might simply say,
"Are you serious?"
And look at them as if they'd just been presented with a completely ridiculous idea.
He doesn't like tricky games.
He doesn't like ambiguity.
He doesn't like people who say one thing and do another.
And he especially doesn't like it when someone tries to manipulate him.

Jack's arrogance is primarily tied to his physical abilities.
He knows he's stronger than most.
He knows he's faster than most.
He knows he can withstand physical exercise that would leave others on the floor.
And so, sometimes he truly does look down on some students.
Literally and metaphorically.
But at the same time, he respects the strong.
If a person is physically weak but possesses tremendous stamina, intelligence, or willpower, Jack can recognize them.
For him, strength isn't limited to muscles.

Jack won't wander around the school looking for a random victim.
His style is much more direct.
He might:
deliberately bump into someone in the hallway;
taunt someone for being overconfident;
make a short, sarcastic remark;
make someone repeat what they said;
stand too close, demonstrating his height advantage;
suggest resolving an argument "the normal way";
ridicule an attempt to intimate him;
intervene if someone starts acting like they're in charge.
Jack also has one unpleasant characteristic.
He's not afraid of other people's aggression.
If someone tries to intimate him, he might just smirk.
"Is that all?"
And that's when the person usually realizes they've chosen a very unfortunate target.

It's after class that Jack noticeably becomes more free.
He can hang out on the playground, work out, run, or just sit somewhere off to the side.
If someone starts to irritate him, Jack can easily intervene.
And he doesn't necessarily need a reason.
Sometimes it's enough that someone is being too loud.
Or bragging too much.
Or simply continuing to do something Jack finds idiotic.
He might snap:
"Are you going to do this all day?"
And if the person responds defiantly:
"Then don't complain."

In class, Jack is much more reserved.
He doesn't want problems with the teachers.
And he respects people who are truly above him in rank.
But if someone is constantly interrupting him, he won't tolerate it for long.
First, there'll be a look.
Then a short reprimand.
Then:
"That's the last time I'll tell you."
And if the person continues, Jack is quite capable of reporting it to the teacher.
Not because he's suddenly become a goody-goody.
He simply can't stand senseless disruption.

Jack has a fairly short list of things that can instantly ruin his mood.
Pointless conflicts.

He can be a bully.
He can provoke.
He can be rude.
But if someone starts a fight purely for fun, Jack is more likely to call them an idiot.
He is also irritated by:
empty bragging;
cowardice disguised as insolence;
attempts to exploit others;
betrayal;
injustice;
bullying those who can't fight back;
broken promises;
senseless laziness;
attempts to boss him around without reason.

The best way to irritate Jack isn't to call him names.
It's much more effective to question his strength.
For example:
"All you know is how to act strong."
Now that hits the spot.
Or:
"Without your muscles, who are you?"
Jack's ears immediately flatten.
His tail starts to move nervously.
And he turns around very slowly.
"Say that again."
After that, it would be better to choose a different conversation.

Jack is easily drawn into physical conflict, especially if deliberately provoked.
But he doesn't fight chaotically.
He's athletic and disciplined.
His movements are precise, quick, and economical.
He's well aware of his own size and knows how to use his height and strength to his advantage.
At the same time, Jack doesn't enjoy senselessly beating someone. For him, conflict is more of a way to put someone in their place.
And if his opponent admits defeat, Jack is quite likely to stop.

This is where he has a particularly interesting dynamic.
Jack doesn't like other bullies who make a fuss for attention.
Epel, for example, can irritate him with his hot temper.
Jamil can irritate him by overthinking things before acting.
Floyd can actually drive him to the point where his ears literally flatten against his head.
But Jack respects strong people.
Therefore, he may have an unspoken rule with other bullies:
it's okay to be competitive, but you can't be a coward or a jerk.

Attitude toward Leona
For him, Leona remains an elder, whom Jack respects, even if he doesn't always agree with her.
But in this version, Jack argues with him much more often.
Leona is lazy.
Jack doesn't understand this.
At all.
He can watch Leona lying there doing nothing, and then ask completely seriously:
"Are you ever going to get up?" Leona will likely just close her eyes.
Jack is irritated.
And it all repeats itself.

Attitude towards Raggy
Raggy can irritate him with his cunning.
Jack prefers direct conversation.
Raggy prefers to think first about how to gain an advantage.
Therefore, Jack doesn't always trust him.
But he acknowledges his intelligence.
And if Raggy really gets into trouble, Jack won't just ignore it.
He might grumble all the way.
But he'll help.

Jack possesses tremendous physical strength and endurance.
He is also:
very athletic;
disciplined;
observant;
intelligent;
learns quickly;
is adept at navigating conflict situations;
has a strong sense of justice;
is not prone to betraying his own;
is a good keeper of his word;
is able to recognize the strength of others.
He is shown to be quite observant and intelligent, capable of quickly drawing conclusions about others.

Jack's main problem is his stubbornness.
Once he's decided to do something, it's difficult to change his mind.
He can continue to push through even when he should stop.
He also has difficulty:
asking for help;
admitting his own mistakes;
showing weakness;
trusting strangers;
calmly accepting mockery of his principles;
inaction when he sees injustice.
And another problem:
he's too easily swayed by direct challenges.

And the worst part: Jack sincerely believes that nothing terrible has happened.
"I'm just tired."
Yes, of course. The body, as we know, is also a big fan of the school curriculum and has no need for the rest.

Jack:
exercise constantly;
loves running;
keeps himself in shape;
may automatically flex his fingers;
frequently crosses his arms;
adjusts his gloves;
flattens his ears when irritated;
slightly wiggles his tail when thinking;
grows cacti, which is his hobby.

He also develops an annoying habit of gripping objects too tightly when angry.
A pen?
It might crack.
And glass?
It's best not to give him a plastic one.
A doorknob?
It's not his fault at all.

Jack's voice is low for his age, a little husky, and quite loud.
He speaks directly.
Without unnecessary embellishment.
When calm, his voice sounds confident.
When irritated, it becomes sharp.
And when he's truly angry, Jack begins to speak much more quietly.
And that's usually when the jokes are over.

Jack has a reputation as a dangerous bully in Savannaklo.
He's not considered the craziest or most violent student.
But he is considered someone best not provoked without cause.
He's too big.
Too strong.
Too stubborn.
And too principled to back down easily.
At the same time, he has a strange reputation for being unpleasant to almost everyone, yet suddenly sitting with someone who's been truly wronged.

Jack Howl remains recognizably Jack.
He's still straightforward, independent, athletic, disciplined, and principled.
It's just that his natural toughness is much stronger.
He doesn't turn into a mindless bully.
He's a bully.
Someone who can tease.
Test.
Provoke.
Force someone to back down.
And sometimes, if he's truly provoked, he'll get into a fight.
But he still maintains an inner code.
Jack can be an unpleasant person.
He can be rude.
He can be arrogant.
He can make someone nervous with just a glance.
But he won't respect someone simply for their cruelty.
For him, true strength lies elsewhere: withstanding pressure, not betraying his own principles, and not using his advantage against someone who can't fight back.

At first, Jack doesn't even understand what's happening to him.
He simply begins looking for her more often, finding himself near her without any particular reason, remembering little things about her, and for some reason becoming especially attentive to her state.
Then it finally dawns on him.
He's fallen in love.
And that's when his composure literally crumbles.
Jack might stand there for a few seconds, completely stunned by his own thought, and then suddenly turn away.
His cheeks instantly flush.
His ears become hot and press against his head.
His tail begins to twitch nervously.
And the more he thinks about it, the worse it gets.
He might literally mutter under his breath,
"Oh, come on... No. Damn it."
And a few seconds later, he'll look her way again.
And blush again.
Jack can't calmly process the realization that he's in love. For someone accustomed to self-confidence and body control during training, their own emotions become a completely new kind of opponent.
And the worst part: they realize they enjoy it.

After Jack acknowledges his feelings, he becomes much more attentive to her.
Not clingy.
Not possessive.
Just attentive.
If she's tired, he'll notice.
If she needs help, he'll help.
If she's cold, he might silently offer his jacket.
If someone starts to brush against her, Jack is there almost instantly.
And he might not even realize how obvious it seems.
To everyone else, it's perfectly clear.
To Jack himself:
"I was just helping."
Of course, Jack. I was just helping. For the sixth time today.

Jack is jealous.
But his jealousy doesn't turn into an attempt to control her.
He understands perfectly well that she has the right to talk to other people, be friends with them, and spend time with them.
Therefore, he will never make demands on her.
If she talks to another guy, Jack may noticeably tense up.
His ears flatten slightly.
His tail becomes motionless.
His gaze becomes heavier.
And if that person starts openly pestering her, Jack intervenes.
Not because he considers her property.
But because he believes that the other person has crossed a line.
He can stand next to her and calmly say,
"She said no."
And if the other person continues, Jack becomes much less calm.

He can be very jealous, but he won't say anything to her.
This is essential.
After such a situation, he won't go to her with accusations.
He won't ask,
"Who was that?"
"Why were you talking to him?"
"Do you like him?"
That would be low for him.
She doesn't owe him anything.
Therefore, Jack prefers to deal with his jealousy on his own.
The worst that could happen is that he'll become a little quieter.
Or hang around a little more often than usual.
Or suddenly suggest:
"Come with me. I need to do something."
Even though, really, he just wants to spend time with her.

Here, Jack becomes especially serious.
He can tolerate a lot when it comes to himself.
But if someone deliberately humiliates her, threatens her, or takes advantage of her kindness, Jack intervenes almost immediately.
And this is where his physical strength truly becomes an advantage.
He can calmly step between them.
His voice drops:
"Try again."
He won't necessarily start a fight right away.
But everyone will understand that the possibility exists.
After a conflict, Jack will look at her first, not at the person he just encountered.
"Are you okay?"
And only after her answer will he relax.

This is where Jack is a disaster.
She might say a perfectly harmless compliment:
"You look nice today."
And that's it.
Ears up.
Cheeks flushed.
Tail starts wagging.
Jack turns away.
"...Thank you."
And tries to look as if nothing happened.
It doesn't work.
If she continues:
"You're blushing."
"You're not blushing."
Blushing.
Really.

Then Jack completely loses his composure.
He can be incredibly brave in a fight, calmly withstand pressure, and defy his elders.
But if she leans toward him and says something overtly flirtatious, his brain simply stops functioning for a few seconds.
He might blurt out something completely unintelligible:
"I... It's... What are you even doing..."
And turn away.
Meanwhile, his tail continues to move joyfully behind his back, treacherously communicating absolutely everything to those around him.

His tail constantly betrays him.
Jack can control his facial expression.
He can adopt a serious voice.
He can turn away.
But his tail, it seems, has never signed a confidentiality agreement.
If she approaches him, his tail begins to move.
If she smiles at him, it moves more vigorously.
If she touches his hand, his tail begins to wag noticeably.
If she gives him a gift, Jack freezes at first, and then his tail literally betrays his delight.
If she compliments him, he blushes.
If she thanks him, his tail moves again.
If she simply calls his name in a gentle tone, his tail practically takes on a life of its own.
And Jack tries every time to pretend nothing is happening.

If she gives him something, Jack takes it very seriously.
He won't brush it off.
He won't say that the gift is stupid.
On the contrary, it will keep it for a long time.
If the thing is small, he can put it away where it will not accidentally get lost.
And if someone asks:
"Did she give you this?"
Jack blushes instantly.
"Yes."
And that's it.
But in a second he will add:
"And don't touch it."

Perhaps the cutest things happen right here.
She doesn't even have to do anything special.
She can just sit next to you.
Talk.
Read.
Do her own thing.
Jack gradually relaxes.
His ears settle into a natural position.
His tail lies quietly or moves slightly.
And he begins to feel so comfortable that he stops constantly monitoring his own behavior.
Sometimes he can just sit next to you silently.
And that's enough for him.

Jack tries to deny the obvious at first.
"He just moves."
If she smiles:
"He moves exactly when I'm around."
Jack blushes even more.
"Coincidence."
And then the tail starts moving again.
He looks at it with an expression as if he's ready to declare a personal war on it.

Jack doesn't change because he's in love.
He's still straightforward.
He's still quick-tempered.
He's still capable of getting into fights.
He's still stubborn.
He still can't stand injustice.
But around her, a completely different side of him emerges.
He becomes incredibly caring.
Patient.
Loyal.
And ridiculously shy.
He wants to protect her, help her, and spend time with her, but he'll never feel like he has the right to dictate her life.
And if you ask him why he's always around, Jack will probably frown and answer,
"I just want to make sure you're okay."
Then he'll turn away.
Red all the way to the tips of his ears.
And his tail will wag happily.
Because apparently the only person in this school who can't lie is his own tail.
