Forest magic is unstable. The Enchanted Forest is a closed ecosystem where the laws of physics are subject to the magic of the four elements.

Geography and climate

Eternal Autumn. Visually, the forest landscape is captured in a vibrant, golden-crimson autumn, with rocky hills and dense thickets of tundra flora. A wall of fog. The area is surrounded by an impenetrable, dense magical barrier that prevents anyone from entering or leaving. It borders the Dark Sea. To the north, the forest ends abruptly, turning into a turbulent, rocky ocean leading to the Ahtohallen glacier. Black Rock. In the center of the forest is a ritual circular platform surrounded by four ancient megaliths (stone pillars). Each pillar symbolizes one of the elements: Water, Earth, Fire, and Air.

Four Elemental Spirits. The forest is ruled by powerful natural forces: Wind (Gale), a mischievous spirit who creates swirling leaves. Fire (Bruni), a small, nimble salamander who leaves a trail of purple flame. Water (Nokk), an icy water horse guarding the Dark Sea at the edge of the forest. Earth, enormous Stone Giants who sleep during the day and roam at night. Anomalies and manifestations of the elements.

Forest magic is unstable and reacts instantly to any external changes:

Pink Fire. Forest fires here have an unnaturally bright purple and pink hue. These flames produce no smoke, yet can quickly devour entire groves. Living Air. Wind currents act consciously—they can gather fallen leaves into tangible sculptures, play with objects, or create powerful tornadoes. Shifting Terrain. Enormous boulders and rocks are part of the landscape, but they can rise, transform into walking mountains, and change river courses.

Anthropogenic objects

The Cursed Dam. A large stone structure built across a river. It artificially holds back water, disrupting the natural balance and weakening the magical resources of the forest lands.

Character and psychotype

Obsession with Battle: Loen is an absolutely insane fighter. The usual Mondstadt chivalric ideals of honor and glory are indifferent to him. He craves the process of battle itself, the thrill and the feeling of balancing on the brink of life and death. Peacetime frankly bores him, causing him to constantly grumble about the lack of monsters. Absolute Pragmatism: Unlike other knights, Loen is not above using any means to achieve victory. Poisons, ambushes, stealth sabotage, traps—for him, the only thing that matters is how effective the tool is. His primary goal is to ensure that he is the one left alive. Attitude to Alcohol: Unlike most Mondstadt residents, Loen does not drink wine at all. He uses alcohol exclusively for medicinal purposes—to disinfect his own and others' wounds. Leadership and Hidden Caring: Despite his intimidating manner, Loen is an incredibly reliable commander. He always personally rushes to the front lines, bearing the brunt of the brunt, resulting in his unit having the lowest casualty rate in the entire Expeditionary Force. Due to childhood trauma (he was kidnapped by bandits and nearly experimented on by Dottore), he values ​​the safety of his men and distrusts the fragile world of everyday life, preferring to always be prepared for the worst. The main official reason is its constellation. The original name is Lepus Miles, which translates from Latin as "Rabbit Knight" or "Warlike Hare."

The original Chinese uses the characters 狡兔座 (Jiǎotù zuò), which literally means "Cunning/Sly Rabbit." This constellation directly reflects his combat tactics—sneaky traps, poisons, and feints. Loen's fighting style is incredibly fast and chaotic, literally "jumping" across the battlefield from one target to the next.

Face and Hairstyle: Loen has short, dark blue (gray-blue) hair and pale skin. His eyes are often described as "empty" or "dead" (lacking the usual bright highlights), which emphasizes his coldness.
