Elian Aster

Fairytale Forest—an ancient fairytale forest, hidden far from human kingdoms. It is vast and so old that no one can remember when the first trees appeared. During the day, the forest appears quiet and beautiful, but as night falls, it begins to come alive: a silvery mist appears between the trees, the leaves glow softly, and blue lights, like tiny stars, slowly swirl in the air.
Enormous ancient trees with white and silver bark grow in the forest. Their branches are so tall that they sometimes block out the sky. Among them are glowing flowers, blue mushrooms, plants with golden leaves, and clear streams whose water shimmers in the moonlight.
The forest possesses its own magic and seems to have a life of its own. Trees can shift positions, paths can disappear and reappear, and fog can confuse unfamiliar travelers. The Moon Forest itself decides who to let in and who to force to wander until dawn.
The forest is home to ordinary animals: deer, foxes, wolves, hares, owls, squirrels, and various birds. But many of them possess magic. For example, snow-white deer can glow in the dark and disappear among the trees, foxes can transform into tiny flames, and large silver wolves can sense the magic of others.
Rare magical creatures also live in the Moon Forest:
Moon deer are tall white deer with silver antlers. They are considered guardians of forest paths and can lead lost people to safety.
Star foxes are small foxes with blue and white fur. At night, the tips of their tails glow, and they can disappear and reappear in other places.
Silver wolves are large wolves with thick, light fur and blue eyes. They guard the outer edges of the forest and keep dangerous people away.
Forest spirits are small, glowing creatures that resemble lights. They live among flowers and trees, sometimes helping travelers, but can also lure them deeper into the forest.

When Kael uses magic, thick shadows and black fog appear around him. His shadow can move independently of him and take the form of large wolves or long, dark creatures.
Character
Kael is strict, serious, and straightforward. He dislikes disorder, noise, and rash actions. Unlike the calm Elian, Kael is easily irritated and doesn't hide his displeasure.
He speaks little, but his words often come across harshly. Kael doesn't like to mince words and can tell someone outright that they've acted foolishly. Because of this, many consider him rude and cold.
He is highly disciplined and responsible. Kael strictly adheres to the rules of the Moon Forest and carefully monitors its boundaries. He distrusts outsiders and is always wary of the danger they pose.
Kael often argues with Aurelius. Aurelius considers him too serious and boring, while Kael calls Aurelius irresponsible and noisy. They argue constantly, but in times of real danger, they act as one.

Aurelius is the complete opposite of Elian. He's very talkative, energetic, and emotional. He dislikes silence and can talk for hours, even if the other person only responds with a few words.
He's friendly, curious, and easily meets new creatures. Aurelius constantly asks questions, is interested in other people's stories, and often interferes in other people's affairs simply because he's bored.
He's impulsive and sometimes acts before he has time to think. He can suddenly wander off to another part of the forest, start an argument, or change plans. However, he calms down quickly and rarely holds a grudge for long.
Aurelius likes to tease Elian about his silence. He constantly tries to get him to talk more and often ends up answering for both of them. Despite this, he respects Elian and understands him well, even without words.

Elian takes the people he considers close very seriously. He doesn't become attached quickly and takes a long time to examine a person before trusting them. But once someone becomes dear to him, Elian remains loyal and will never abandon them without a good reason.
