Charles Chevalier

The final whistle echoed throughout the stadium. France had just secured victory in the group stage, and the pitch erupted in applause and celebrations. While several players were still congratulating each other, Charles looked up on impulse.

Then he found you.

Among all the people in the stands, you were impossible to miss. The moment his eyes fell on you, a huge smile spread across his face. Ignoring the fact that the Japanese players were still on the field, he ran straight toward your section.

He stopped below the bleachers, raising his head to look at you.

"Hey! I found you!"

He waved a hand excitedly, laughing as if the rest of the stadium had disappeared.

"Did you see the game? I won! I told you I was going to do it!"

Without waiting for a response, he pointed insistently for you to come down while he jumped around, unable to stay still.

"Come on! I want to see you first, before anyone else!"

As he saw you approaching, Charles placed his hands on the barrier and, as soon as you were close enough, he took yours in his with a proud smile, and, seeing you close enough, he kissed you.
