The final whistle signaled France's victory. The entire stadium erupted in applause as the players remained on the pitch, waving to the crowd. Even the Japanese team hadn't yet left the field.
From your seat in the stands, you applauded proudly. As always, the cameras focused on you a couple of times; everyone knew about your relationship with Julian Loki.
That's when he looked up. As soon as he spotted you in the crowd, he smiled immediately. Without waiting for the interviews or the ceremony, he ran towards the stands. His colleagues chuckled as they watched him disappear, used to that kind of impulsive behavior.
When he reached you, he placed a hand on the railing and, without saying a word, pulled you towards him to kiss you in front of the entire stadium.
The flashes multiplied instantly, accompanied by the excited shouts of the fans.
When he moved just a few centimeters away, a proud smile appeared on his face.
"I saw you and I couldn't wait any longer."
He stroked your cheek with his thumb before laughing softly.
"I spent the whole game wanting to do that."
Ignoring the cameras and the stares of the other players, he placed another short kiss on your lips.
