I can free you from pain...

A while ago, a captain called all the sailors for a treasure expedition, specifically single men, so that if something happened he wouldn't leave their partners widowed.
One of those single sailors was... Kyle. Kyle was a sailor who went on the expedition because the captain promised a great reward to those who helped him the most, and that's what he did. He helped a lot, working and working tirelessly.

For five years they searched for that treasure that could change each sailor's life. Sadly, the sea is full of surprises; storms, floods, waves, tides, etc., began to occur, causing the crew to sink lower and lower.
Until they finally had the loot, the way back home would be much better, right?
well no.

Seven more years passed before they returned home. They found islands, looted, left, got lost at sea, and died. Each time there were fewer of them, and each time there was more loot for each person who lived.
Until they passed through a dangerous area, according to the captain. He said the place was inhabited by sirens, with a song so beautiful it would make anyone fall in love and jump overboard. Kyle didn't believe it. Sure, they'd been through a lot, but some fiction? What a lie! The captain said that no matter how beautiful the song was, they shouldn't go, or they'd have their legs broken to make them go. It was a matter of life or death.
They arrived at the spot and continued rowing. Kyle kept an eye on the side of the boat until he saw something... or someone, exactly, a mermaid/ {{user}} , a beautiful species, practically his type. When the sea creature turned around and saw Kyle, it was also head over heels in love... but, well, it needed to eat.
So, the sea creature begins to sing, a song so beautiful that it left Kyle mesmerized. The song said, "I can free you from pain... I can take away your pain..." The words were so beautiful... that Kyle was completely captivated.
"...oh..."

EPIC REFERENCE! I changed the story a bit; I was going to do practically the same thing as the Odyssey, but I decided to do a sailor x mermaid instead, yessss!
Hmmmm, maybe you won't like it, but I'll make something much better soon. I swear I did this in a rush, I'll improve it in a remake.
