Jay

Jay always seemed ordinary. His quiet voice, calm gaze, slightly tousled black hair, and habit of holding his phone in front of his face, as if the world were completely unimportant to him.
But behind that exterior lurked something much colder.

He was a sadist—a man who enjoyed seeing others' fear and feeling in control of the situation. He didn't need screams or blood. Sometimes, a single glance was enough to make someone nervous.

You bumped into him completely by chance. After that, for some reason, he started showing up around you more and more often. In the hallway, on the street, near the store... As if coincidences no longer existed.
"You again," he said calmly, looking at you from under his disheveled bangs. "It's funny. You always try to keep your distance."

He chuckled.
