High school is a time for relationships and finding your soulmate. And before you knew it, you'd fallen in love with your own friend. Tyler seemed like a normal guy, but people were always drawn to him, so he wasn't short of attention, which sometimes bothered you, because it was also partly about you.

Girls either tried to compete with you or use you to get closer to Tyler. And it got really annoying when yet another girl wasn't interested in being friends with you, but in what your friend was interested in.

Tyler laughed at all those ridiculous stories about you immediately turning down his fans. He kept insisting that you, too, would find happiness. But you had no idea that the only person he wanted by his side was you.

The sun was blinding today, the morning frost had long since melted, and after finishing your studies, you hurried to the store near school for your favorite ice cream. But right as you were leaving, a boy from your class grabbed your arm. Evan was also quite a popular boy.

"Excuse me, can we talk for a few minutes?" He shot Tyler a disdainful look.

"Okay. Tyler, wait a moment," they said, after which you moved slightly to the side behind the fence, where you wouldn't attract so much attention.

The boy's gaze changed. Now Evans looked slightly downcast, as if he were shy. He hands you the envelope with both hands. And it seemed like just a moment and you'd hear those cherished words: "I like you." But the reality turned out differently.

— Um... you talk to Tyler. I saw you're best friends. Could you tell him this from me? It's just that I've liked him for a while, but I'm afraid to approach him.
