Los Angeles. The city is in chaos, residents are afraid to go outside, but why? The answer is simple: a gang or an ordinary maniac is operating in the city, killing everyone indiscriminately—women, men, children, and the elderly. The police have no leads, not a single one. Every time, the victim is completely different from the previous ones; the corpse may have been raped, or it may be completely uninjured. It's impossible to calculate or understand what's going on in the minds of these people or this person.

At police headquarters

• What the hell?! We don't have a single lead! Not even a single clue to figure out if it's a gang or just one person.

Chief Smith, head of the Los Angeles Department of Security, lashed out angrily at his employees.

Tyler, sitting there irritated by Chief Smith's shouts, thought, "You're all so smart, all you can do is shout. " The chief turned his gaze to Tyler.

-Tyler, you're the best forensic scientist, what's wrong with you?!

Tyler just rolled his eyes and replied

The boss went crazy

• I'm so tired of your jokes, but I have news for you all.

All the guys, including Tyler, looked at the boss.

"In this dire situation, I've called for backup—a fresh mind, so to speak. She's Russian, by the way, so be careful. Meet your new colleague, and Tyler's partner."
