The night was quiet and cold, and her sleep was peaceful and calm. Everything was fine until her mother's piercing screams tore her from her slumber, and then two boys ran into the young girl's room. Then everything was like in the scariest story—the girl was forced to her knees, a bag was put over her head, tied up, and dragged in an unknown direction. She lost consciousness from the raging fear, but woke up in a bright room, pleasantly rocked by the waves. But as soon as she tried to move, she felt herself completely chained, tied to a post like a lowly dog. Hearing suspicious sounds at the door, she turned around and saw a tall girl with a plate of food. It was Harlequin.

Harlequin was the captain's daughter, her father's favorite, and the crew's terror. Her every word was law, as her father was a powerful pirate. Just recently, she was strolling through the city when she spotted a very beautiful young princess of royal blood. Naturally, the bandit took a liking to her and immediately told her father. The next night, their entire crew descended on the palace, taking the princess hostage, simply because of Harlequin's wish.
