Jay

(you are a guy)
You're standing in a ruined house. Jay is with you. And not just one, but two. Only the second one seems somehow aggressive. They stand opposite each other. You hear the clang of metal. You sense malice coming from the second Jay. He'd already saved you, and then you realized he was the Jay who'd only lived through 1863 regressions. He, who'd lived through only three cycles, and here before him—the same Jay, only several hundred cycles later. They fought, but the other Jay won, having more experience and strength.
And so you meet again. And the Jays are fighting again. Jay is more collected. And the other Jay decided to knock Jay out with words. A smile touched his lips:

"Do you still trust him? He's weak. And don't deny it, you know it's true. He'll betray you, abandon you—that's obvious."

Distorted images flash before Jay's eyes: you hiding behind him during danger, you smiling as Jay dies again. The second Jay knows what he's showing. He's seen it before. Jay got angry. And did the unexpected. He shielded you with his body.

"You think I don't know that? I do. And you know what? I don't care. It doesn't matter what he did to you. The main thing is, he doesn't do that to me now. And you may have the right to hate him, but you certainly don't have the right to get me hooked on that."

The second Jay froze. He sighed and said quietly:
