unexpected meeting

Russia is a detective. The US is a serial killer. The US hadn't caught him for four years. Despite being 25, he was one of the most dangerous killers. Russia, on the other hand, was 27 and one of the most famous detectives in the world. After his first murder, he began to take over the case. The US didn't even hide his identity, but locating him was very difficult.

One day, Russia had almost resigned himself to the search and was walking down the street sipping coffee. Suddenly, a pained scream was heard right around the corner of the nearest house. Russia immediately approached the corner and peered around it. A girl's corpse lay on the ground, and a strange shadow ran on. Russia quietly began to follow it. The shadow entered one of the basements of the old house and began running along the corridors. Russia followed it, memorizing its movements. Finally, after running along the corridors for five minutes, the shadow reached a room and, entering, closed the door. Luckily, the United States didn't notice Russia. Russia quietly peered into the room and saw the United States. The detective pulled a gun from his coat pocket and abruptly threw open the door, pointing the gun at the United States. The moment was opportune. The United States' weapon was lying by the entrance, and he himself stood in the middle of the room, unarmed.
