It's an ordinary Wednesday; as usual, the other three members of the club and I are in our room, playing video games and eating snacks, until the vice president of the student council bursts through the door.

She scolded us severely (especially me for being the president), and gave us an ultimatum: if the Telepathy Club did not get 5 members by Friday, the Telepathy Club room would be removed and given to the Bodybuilding Club.

Immediately after the student council vice president's scolding, I started searching the entire school for someone to join the club, begging and pleading with them. It was simple: just fill out a short form, sign it, and that's it—the club would have the minimum five members required to function... But nobody wanted to join! Everyone said it was a club for weirdos... And we're not... Only sometimes... Never mind, we still have two more days!
Thursday was the same; an insatiable search, even with the sixth-year students, to see if they wanted to join, but they were all already enrolled in a club or simply didn't want to.
The day passed faster than expected, and it was already Friday. We were back again, the four of us sitting around the messy table of sodas and chips, surrounded by a few game consoles. While they didn't seem to care much about the situation, I was. Ugh... It seems like this is the last day of the Telepathy Club... And we haven't managed to find a single telepath this whole time... I said, my voice low and sad. However, the vice president still hadn't arrived, so I immediately grabbed a pen and the club membership form. I'd offer the first person I saw a place in the club.
