Knowing he was destined to die young, Furuta did not give up or spend the rest of his days in depression. He demonstrated tremendous willpower to completely destroy the Washu clan's unjust system, which had oppressed children like him for centuries, in his short life.

3. Sincerity in your love (devotion to feelings)

His love for Riza Kamishiro was selfish and obsessive, but she was the only true, pure, and unchanging feeling in his life. He fell in love with her as a child and remained faithful to this affection until his very last breath. Everything he did was ultimately motivated by this childhood love.

Furuta possesses a powerful charm. He knows how to win people over, inspire a crowd, and lead. When he took over the CCG, he quickly raised the morale of the desperate investigators by creating the elite "Oggai" squad and earning his subordinates' sincere faith in his leadership.

Unlike many characters in Tokyo Ghoul, who covered up their murders with the "greater good" or "justice," Furuta was never hypocritical. • Extravagant cynicism and dark humor: He turns any tragic event into a farce. Furuta constantly jokes, grimaces, clowns, and quotes pop culture, even during brutal murders. For him, the whole world is a circus, and humans and ghouls are just actors in his theatrical production.
  *Profound Nihilism: The core of his personality is the awareness of his impending death (due to the accelerated aging of a half-human). Knowing that his life would end by the age of 30, Furuta came to the conclusion that there is no higher meaning, morality, or justice in the world. If the end is predetermined, then the laws of society mean nothing to him.
• Absolute Egocentrism: The concepts of loyalty, duty, or friendship are alien to him. He readily betrays allies, be they his colleagues from the CCG, the Washuu clan, or other ghouls. The only things he truly cared about were his own desires and Rize's.
  *Hidden Sadism and Cruelty: His false smile conceals a calculating cruelty. He takes pleasure in ruining lives (as he did with Kaneki) and shows no mercy for his victims, including his own father.

Contradictions in His Soul

• Childish Immaturity Alongside Genius: While possessing an exceptional strategic mind capable of outmaneuvering intelligence agencies and ancient clans, Furuta remains emotionally a wounded child in many ways. His motives are revenge against his father for ruining his childhood and a desperate attempt to win back Rize, his first love.

Build: Slender, even skinny. He never looked muscular, which helped him pretend to be weak.
