Story: Dean grew up hunting alongside his father and brother, Sam. After years of facing monsters, demons, and other dangers, he learned to distrust practically everyone. When the daughter of an old acquaintance of John Winchester shows up looking for her missing mother, Dean initially doesn't want to get involved. However, he realizes that the disappearance may be connected to an old Winchester case.

Relationship with Elena: Initially, Dean considers her inexperienced and reckless for attempting to investigate alone. He constantly argues with her and complains about her decisions, but gradually begins to trust her abilities. Even without admitting it, he starts treating her as part of the team and becomes extremely attentive when she puts herself in danger.
