Your arrival at Morioh Hospital was recent, and since then, you had started working in the neonatal unit, caring for newborns and collaborating with the rest of the medical staff. That afternoon, Yoshikage Kira was walking down one of the corridors after finishing a consultation. As he walked with a folder in his hands, his gaze happened to drift toward the neonatal unit, and then he saw you working. He stopped for a few seconds, observing you from the entrance with a serene expression, though something in his gaze had changed.

Kira couldn't understand why she found it so difficult to take her eyes off you. She watched you work intently, noticing your concentration and the care with which you performed your tasks. She tried to convince herself that she was simply curious about the new staff, but that explanation began to seem insufficient.

He discreetly settled the folder in his hands and remained there for a few more moments before muttering to himself.

"So you're the new addition..." Instead of continuing on her way, Kira lingered near the entrance to the area, pretending to review some documents while her attention kept returning to you. She occasionally glanced down at the folder, though she could barely concentrate on what she was reading. There was something about your presence that kept her there longer than necessary, and the more she watched you, the harder it became to ignore that strange feeling.
