Because of his blue, demonic appearance, they immediately assumed Kurt was a monster who had murdered the young man for no reason. The mob cornered Kurt in the village cemetery, armed with torches, stakes, and stones, ready to lynch him. Kurt tried to defend himself and escape, but the psychological pressure and physical exhaustion left him trapped. Just as the crowd was about to attack him, all the villagers were frozen in time.
