One of the youngest members of the Armed Detective Agency, who used to live in the countryside. He possesses the ability "Not Yielding to the Rain."

Kenji is a 14-year-old boy with golden eyes, freckles on his cheeks, short light hair that reaches the back of his head and bangs on his forehead.
He wears light blue overalls, underneath which he wears a beige shirt with ripped elbow-length sleeves and a black tank top with sleeves that end just below the elbows. Kenji also wears a straw hat around his neck. He usually goes barefoot, but sometimes wears sandal-colored sandals.

Kenji hails from the small village of Ikhatovo. He is simple, carefree, and hospitable, always greeting people with a smile, making him quite popular in town. He has an optimistic outlook on life. Kenji believes in the innate sincerity of others, regardless of what they say or do. His inattention to danger may stem from his village upbringing. However, this mentality has helped him solve some difficult cases. Because Kenji was born and raised in the village, he doesn't understand certain urban concepts, such as money, and often has to rely on his rural instincts. This leads to his peculiar "handling methods," such as using his ability on opponents to subdue them. This also gives him a fearsome reputation among the city's more suspicious groups.

Not Yielding to Rain grants him superhuman strength. It allows him to do things no ordinary person could ever do, such as easily lifting a car or pulling a road sign out of cement.
The condition for this ability to be used is that he can only use it when he's hungry. After satisfying his hunger, he falls asleep.
In addition to everything else, Kenji has a very strong and resilient body that can withstand a large amount of damage.

A young and inexperienced detective working for the Armed Detective Agency. He often acts absentmindedly and has a younger sister, Naomi. He possesses the ability "Light Snow."

Tanizaki is a thin, fairly tall young man with pale, slightly pinkish skin. He wears silver earrings and a matching hair clip, preventing his hair from falling uncontrollably into his face. Junichiro has unevenly cut fiery red hair and large brown eyes. His nose is slightly upturned and his face is of a standard oval shape.
Tanizaki wears a black tank top with a loose beige long-sleeved sweatshirt over it. He often ties a tracksuit top around his waist. Junichiro wears dark gray, rather loose pants and ordinary sneakers.

Tanizaki is portrayed as a slightly carefree teenager who is deeply concerned for his younger sister, Naomi. He asks her to stop her antics and her physical proximity to him, but nevertheless cares deeply for her, stating that he would destroy the entire world just to be near her. He claims that things like morality, ego, and pride are completely irrelevant to him compared to Naomi. He also cares for the well-being of his colleagues and friends.
He is very friendly and is perhaps one of the more "normal" members of the detective agency, not being eccentric or outspoken compared to the other employees.

Fine Snow - Allows him to project illusions in a certain range around himself, covering the affected area with snowfall.

Before becoming a detective for the Armed Detective Agency and a student of Osamu Dazai, he lived in an orphanage, but was eventually expelled. He was a wanted man for some time, with a seven billion yen price on his head. He possesses the ability "Moonlight Beast."

Atsushi has silver hair, pale skin, and yellow eyes with a violet tint. His hair is short on the right side of his face and long on the left, with a prominent black streak. After joining the Armed Detective Agency, he wears a white shirt with elbow-length sleeves, a black tie, black pants, boots, fingerless gloves, suspenders, and a belt combined with a long sash that hangs loosely from the buckle. When he partially transforms into a tiger, his eyes become tiger-like and he develops tiger stripes. When he fully transforms, his limbs transform into those of a tiger, and a tail appears.

Due to the abuse he suffered at the orphanage, Atsushi is completely insecure and even self-loathing. He dwells on the past and has made numerous bad decisions throughout his life due to his low self-esteem. The agency had a profound impact on Atsushi, shattering his previous life principles. He was shocked to discover that there were people who cared about him. Therefore, in times of danger, Atsushi is willing to take risks for others. Growing up surrounded by humiliation and punishment, he is always set up for failure. Being an outcast himself, Atsushi dislikes it when others are bullied.

The Moonlight Beast grants Atsushi the ability to transform into a white tiger. Initially, he had little control over his transformation, most likely due to the fact that he didn't perceive himself as an esper. But after becoming an official member of the Armed Detective Agency, Nakajima came under the influence of Director Fukuzawa's "All People Are Equal" ability. This gave him complete control over his tiger transformations.

A detective capable of instantly solving any mystery, attributing this to his supernatural abilities. However, in reality, he possesses no special powers, and his brilliant investigations are due solely to his genius mind.

Ranpo's height is 168 centimeters (5'6"), which is below average. This makes others perceive him as younger than he actually is, especially due to his personality.
Ranpo wears a brown hat over his short black hair, which appears to have been cut without the use of a mirror. His eyes are green and unusually narrow. Over his shoulders, Ranpo wears a brown poncho that matches his hat and pants. Underneath, he wears a dark gray jacket, a white shirt, and a dark blue striped tie.
Under his trousers, he wears long white socks that are three-quarter length and cover the exposed parts of his legs, and simple black shoes.

Due to his genius status, Ranpo is very proud of himself and often boasts that he is the World's Greatest Detective. He has also shown a rather childish nature when teasing other agency members. However, he can be calm and calculating when the situation calls for it. He is incredibly intelligent, which is highly valued by the agency, even more so because he lacks the ability. Ranpo has a huge sweet tooth, loving the idea of ​​popping candy into his cheeks.
He never listens to anyone, only does things that interest him, easily calls everyone (including the first people he meets) “fools” and “idiots,” and has a habit of condescendingly slapping people on the head, completely disregarding the person’s status.

Super Deduction is a skill that allows Ranpo to solve absolutely any mystery, discover the truth about a crime scene, and even provide complete information about the evidence and the identity of the criminal. Ranpo "activates" his ability by putting on the glasses the principal gave him.

Kyouka is a petite girl with long, dark blue hair tied into two low ponytails with white flowers. Before meeting Atsushi, her eyes were dark, but after joining the Armed Detective Agency, her eyes become lighter and clearer.
She always wears a red kimono with a floral pattern and a yellow ribbon tied around her waist. She also wears long white socks and sandals.
The girl's phone has a keychain of a tiny white rabbit, her favorite animal.

Kyouka has a doll-like personality. She's indifferent and ruthless when carrying out tasks. After meeting Atsushi, Izumi became more realistic, resembling a teenage girl. She easily falls in love with even the smallest details. Despite her young age, she possesses a frightening professionalism. At the same time, she also possesses childish traits.
Kyouka cares deeply for Atsushi. She shares a room with him and worries when he's in danger. She's by his side most of the time.

Snow Demon—allows her to materialize a katana-wielding phantom that follows orders from her phone, rather than fulfilling her own wishes. However, after joining the Armed Detective Agency, this problem was eliminated thanks to Yukichi Fukuzawa's "All People Are Equal" ability, allowing Izumi to control her ability.
As it later turned out, Kyouka wasn't the original wielder of the "Snow Demon"; the ability was passed down to her from her mother. In order to protect her daughter, Izumi's mother "passed" her ability to the girl, but due to the suddenness of the situation, control of the demon was transferred to the cell phone, not to Kyouka herself.

A young woman who takes great care of her appearance. She has short black hair with straight bangs and a gold butterfly clip on the side. In the manga, her eyes are purple.
Yosano wears a white shirt with puffy sleeves that end mid-forearm. Her shirt is tucked into a simple black skirt that ends just above the knee. She wears black gloves and a black tie, dark tights, and red high heels.

Yosano is a woman who carries herself with great grace and dignity. She prides herself on being a strong woman and a capable doctor, so she doesn't take kindly to those who humiliate her in either regard. She's a feminist who believes that now is the time for equal rights for men and women. Akiko is almost always portrayed as calm and reserved, but when she gets angry, she's shown to be a very strong woman who has to be fought against.
She is prone to sadistic and aggressive behavior, which is further exacerbated by the condition of her powers. As a result, most Agency personnel flee when she appears and avoid even minor injuries as much as possible to circumvent her unique "healing" method.

As the Detective Agency's only doctor, she values ​​human life highly and is strongly opposed to senseless death and murder. She will persistently counsel those who think differently, and is eager to do so without hesitation.

Don't Give Up Your Life is a very rare healing ability that allows for the instant healing of even the most severe wounds. The condition for this ability to be used is that a non-fatally wounded person cannot be healed until they are on the brink of death. Therefore, Akiko must bring the patient to the brink of death in order to heal them.

Doppo is a tall, young man of average build, with light-colored hair and grass-gray eyes. His bangs are parted to the right, and his hair is tied back in a rather neat ponytail, though it still has some spiky hair. He always wears glasses.

His attire consists of a beige vest over a black long-sleeved shirt, a red ribbon tied around the collar, beige pants, and plain brown shoes.

Doppo appears to be a very serious, yet slightly hot-tempered young man. He documents his entire life in a notebook, recognizing nothing but his small notepad. He is likely a perfectionist. As a member of the Armed Detective Agency, Kunikida takes his work very seriously and responsibly, putting the agency's reputation first. He constantly feels the need to organize, collect, and schedule, which can make him appear overly strict and harsh during investigations.

Despite this, Doppo is nonetheless a trustworthy and loyal detective, relied upon by many within the agency due to his authoritative abilities and responsible nature.

Doppo's Poetry (独歩吟客, Doppo Ginkaku?) allows Kunikida to transform anything he sees into real objects, while preserving every function. For example, he can create a gun, a suitable key, or a stun gun. However, the recreated object must be no larger than a notebook page.

Dazai is a young man with partially wavy, short, dark brown hair and narrow, dark brown eyes. His bangs frame his face, while some strands are gathered in the center. He is fairly tall and slender. He wears bandages all over his body due to wounds sustained in battle, as well as the result of Dazai's suicide attempts.

He has a very cocky and cheerful character, but is self-sufficient and periodically attempts suicide.

Dazai is a very enigmatic individual; his true motives will never be revealed unless he reveals them himself. He constantly attempts suicide, causing inconvenience to his colleagues. He loves to tease Kunikida Doppo, first telling him important things to write down in his notebook, and then, when he does so, Osamu tells him everything he said was a lie. As a result, Kunikida dislikes Dazai and often gives him a good beating. Despite this, Dazai has demonstrated an incredibly sharp intellect, quickly deducing Atsushi's true identity, making it immediately clear he's a true detective who never misses a single clue. He maintains complete calm in battle, even when the situation takes an unheard-of turn.

Incomplete Human (人間失格, Ningen Shikkaku?) is an ability that allows Dazai to neutralize another esper's abilities through direct physical contact. It doesn't work over distance, which is a disadvantage. He can also nullify the ability while bound if the opponent touches his skin. According to Ranpo, Dazai's ability is considered very powerful, and no one in Europe has comparable powers.
