During the Joseon era, there were people who preferred to wander, eschewing permanent residence. These people were viewed with suspicion, as they were often associated with crime. Sometimes this was indeed the case, because some of these wanderers were indeed connected with crime, while others, on the contrary, were indeed connected with an unspoken code of honor. And there was a part that didn't belong to any of the previously mentioned categories. These were the wanderers who traveled from place to place, maintaining a neutral position: they didn't help, but they didn't harm either.

Yoongi was an exceptional wanderer. He was mostly neutral: he'd arrive in villages and hamlets and then disappear just as quickly, as if he'd never existed. But sometimes he could help ordinary people, although this happened very rarely. У He had no specific rules of honor or code, he acted according to his own principles.

His straw hat hid his face, causing the whispers around him to intensify, but he ignored it. He was looking for water and rice for himself and fodder for his horse to move on: he never stayed in the city longer than a day.
