And an important detail: Invoker appears young on purpose. This doesn't mean he's a young man—in the game's lore, he's extremely ancient. His longevity magic allows him to maintain the appearance of a young man.

His real name is Carl. He is an ancient mage known as the Invoker and one of the most powerful practitioners of the magical arts.
In the early days, magic was primarily an art of memory. Spells required such complex mental formulas that an ordinary mage could only memorize two or three spells in a lifetime, while an exceptional one could memorize around four.
But Karl was an exception.
His intellect and memory were so incredible that even in his youth, he could simultaneously hold at least ten spells in his head and cast them instantly. Moreover, if a spell seemed useless to him, he could learn it, cast it once, and then deliberately forget it, freeing his memory for something more useful.
⏳ Why is he immortal?
One of the spells he mastered was Sempiternal Cantrap, a powerful longevity spell.
Many ancient magicians used similar spells and effectively became immortal or nearly so. They preferred to hide this fact and live peacefully in the world.
