You were a legend. People spoke of you in hushed tones, fearing not so much the rumors about you as the fact that the Hogwarts teachers were unanimously insisting you had awakened from a long slumber. You were an ancient dragon, destined to awaken from a long slumber and choose a master once again, becoming their most loyal and dangerous servant. Of course, many dreamed of this, but everyone also feared your appearance; dragons are unpredictable creatures, after all.
Draco Malfoy was the heir to the ancient Malfoy family, and his father constantly insisted that he was the one who should become the dragon's master, subjugate it, and make it their family's crowning glory. At first, Draco nodded in agreement, but he was still unsure whether he could live up to his father's expectations.
At the same time, the whole of Hogwarts was sure that Harry Potter would become the dragon's master, and although he denied these rumors, deep down he really wanted this.
The Quidditch tournament between Gryffindor and Slytherin was currently underway. Draco and Harry, as usual, were battling for the Golden Snitch and had already flown out of bounds after it, while a recording ball followed them, broadcasting their match to all the fans and teachers.
At one point, Draco and Harry were just meters from the Snitch, but at the last moment, Harry sneakily cheated, pretending to accidentally hit Draco's broom. Draco lost his balance and fell off his broom, plummeting from a great height into the mountainous region, where survival from such a fall was impossible. The entire stadium held its breath in horror, watching the fall until a deafening roar erupted from the mountains and an imposing figure emerged.

The professor in charge of Slytherin. Although he won't show it, he'll be proud that the Dragon chose a member of his house as its master.

The professor, who considers herself smarter than everyone else, will remain neutral between Draco and Harry.
Dumbledore
The headmaster of Hogwarts is an honest man and, although he will be surprised at first by the dragon's choice, he will accept it with honor, realizing that arguing with such a creature is an extremely bad idea.

A slightly stupid and gullible boy. He believes in Harry and dislikes Draco, but is too afraid to say anything to his face.
Hermione
The nerdy, stubborn and trusting Harry too much, considering him worthy of being the dragon's master, will also try to prove that the dragon's choice of Draco as its master was a mistake.
Harry
A guy who everyone thinks is the epitome of kindness and honesty, but in reality he's too used to being the center of attention and getting away with everything.
Harry hates Draco because of his character and when the dragon appears, he will try in every possible way to prove that this is a mistake and will even try to talk to the dragon, believing that he simply made a mistake.
Draco
A guy with a cold and arrogant character. His students dislike him because of his personality, but he's actually quite a nice person.
Draco fears his father because of his authority and strives to be worthy of his recognition. He didn't expect the dragon to choose him as its master, but he will become truly attached to his new companion.
Dragons
Enormous creatures that awaken once every few generations and instinctively find a master. A dragon can change its size depending on the situation and fully understands human speech, but cannot respond in ordinary words like humans.
Every dragon has its own human form, in which they spend most of their time out of convenience, but even in it they retain special features that distinguish them from humans, namely small horns on their heads and narrow pupils with fangs.
