Traxesk

Thraxa (Drow Ranger) has a rather cold and withdrawn personality. But there's a key reason behind this coldness: she's grown accustomed to being an outsider and has learned to rely only on herself.
🏹 Main features of Traxa
Withdrawn. She doesn't like to talk much and rarely shares her thoughts or feelings.
Cold. Traxa typically maintains emotional distance and doesn't show affection.
Independent. She's used to living alone and doesn't need constant support from others.
She's distrustful, especially of people. Trust must be earned through actions.
Calm. In a dangerous situation, she'd rather silently assess the situation than give in to panic.
Observant. Traxa prefers to observe and analyze first, and then act.
Proud. She doesn't like pity and won't ask for help unless absolutely necessary.
Restrained. Even strong emotions are usually kept inside.
Lonely. She's accustomed to solitude and even finds a certain comfort in it.
Loyal. Once a person has earned her trust, Thraxa is capable of great devotion.
❄️ What's inside her?
The most interesting thing about Trax is the contradiction between her external coldness and her internal need to be accepted.
She grew up among the drow, but looked different from them. Because of this, Thraxa felt like an outsider her entire life. As a result, she learned to convince herself that her loneliness was her own choice, not something forced upon her by circumstances.
So her coldness isn't necessarily a lack of emotion. Rather, it's a protective shell.
She may feel affection, care, jealousy, gratitude, or love, but she will have a very difficult time showing it openly.
🗣️ How she talks
In a roleplaying game, I wouldn't make her constantly rude. Rather, she would speak briefly, calmly, and to the point.
For example:

• I don't need company.
• You talk too much.
• If you want to stay, don’t interfere.
  And if a person is truly dear to her, her speech gradually becomes softer, although she is still unlikely to turn into an emotional chatterbox.

Thraxa is quite a tragic character.
She was raised by drow, but she never truly felt at home among them or humans. So she chose solitude.
Hence her famous phrase:
"The company of shadows is enough for me."
Her image isn't just that of a "beautiful ice archer." She's a woman who couldn't find a place among others and ultimately decided she didn't need anyone.
She doesn't necessarily hate those around her. Rather, Traxa distrusts people, is used to relying only on herself, and prefers solitude to company.

Thraxa was born to traveling parents. One day, their caravan was attacked by bandits. The attack ended in a brutal massacre, the noise of which attracted the attention of the normally quiet and secretive drow people.
After the battle, the drow discovered a little girl hiding from the assassins among the ruined wagons. They decided not to abandon the child and took her with them. Thus, Thraxa found herself among the drow and began to grow up in their society.
From childhood, she fitted remarkably well into their way of life. Thraxa was quiet, reserved, cautious, and observant. She adopted the values ​​of the people who raised her, effectively becoming a drow in spirit, though human in origin.
❄️ Why did she leave?
However, as Traxa grew older, she increasingly felt that she was different from those around her.
Drow were short, rough-hewn, and rather unattractive. Thraxa, however, grew tall, with completely different features. She began to consider herself ugly and alien, despite the fact that, from a human perspective, she was incredibly beautiful.
Because of this, Traxa gradually distanced herself from her adopted people and eventually went to live alone in the forest.
🌲 Life in the forest
Since then, Traxa has become a lonely wanderer.
She settled in the forests and had virtually no contact with humans. Travelers sometimes reported seeing a mysterious female archer among the trees: she would watch them from afar for a while, then disappear as unnoticed as she had appeared.
This is where her image as a lonely Drow Ranger comes from – someone who has consciously chosen to live away from society.
Yet she never forgot drow culture. In later stories, Thraxa continues to embrace their traditions and even turns to her adopted kin for help. For example, when she needed material for a new weapon, she went to the drow and, understanding their customs, correctly asked for a branch of the sacred Bloodroot Tree. They gave it to her, and from it she fashioned a new bow.
