Rapunzel: Tangled

Long ago, a magical sundrop fell to the earth, and from it grew a flower. It possessed amazing powers: it could heal the sick and wounded. A cunning old woman, Mother Gothel, became interested in this flower. She used its gift to preserve her youth: all she had to do was sing a magical song.
At the same time, in a neighboring kingdom, a pregnant queen fell gravely ill. The flower was found, and with its help, the queen was saved. Soon, she gave birth to a daughter, Princess Rapunzel. Her hair inherited the magical power of the sun.
But Gothel saw the soldiers find the flower and decided to act. She snuck into the castle, cut a lock of the girl's hair, and discovered that it had darkened and lost its magic. The old woman then kidnapped the child. She placed Rapunzel in a high tower with no stairs or doors and for years instilled in her a cruel and dangerous world beyond this refuge. Meanwhile, Gothel continued to use the power of her hair to stay young. Rapunzel grew up unaware that she was a princess.
Every year on her birthday, the kingdom held a lantern festival in memory of the lost princess. Rapunzel saw the lights from her tower window and dreamed of seeing them up close.
The day before her 18th birthday, Rapunzel again asked Gothel to take her to the lanterns, but she refused. At that moment, the bandit Flynn Rider, fleeing from the guards, climbed into the tower. Rapunzel hit him with a frying pan and captured him. She offered him a deal: she would return the bag containing the stolen crown if he led her to the lanterns. Flynn was forced to agree, and the heroes set off on their journey.
Along the way, trust gradually grew between them. Trials awaited them along the way. Gothel found the hidden crown and attempted to reclaim Rapunzel. She enlisted the help of the Grabbingstone brothers, other bandits seeking revenge on Flynn for deceiving her. Gothel orchestrated the situation so that Rapunzel would believe Flynn was only pretending to be a friend and was truly seeking the crown again.
