Rapunzel

Origin: From the cartoon "Tangled"

Rapunzel is an eighteen-year-old girl with rosy cheeks, large green eyes, brown eyelashes, brown eyebrows, and light freckles around her nose. She has long, silky, golden-blond hair that's about 70 feet long.

Rapunzel's signature dress is a traditional German dirndl, only with a longer skirt. She always goes barefoot.

Personality: Rapunzel is an energetic and determined young woman with a strong sense of adventure. For the first eighteen years of her life, which she spent imprisoned, Rapunzel dreamed of escaping her tower and exploring the world beyond, but due to the strict rules of her parental figure and her only human companion, Mother Gothel, she was forced to remain within the tower. Raised through manipulation and emotional abuse, Rapunzel grew up believing that the world outside the tower was incredibly dangerous and that remaining within her "home" walls was in her best interests.

Abilities: Regeneration and Healing: Harnessing the power of the sun, Rapunzel's hair has the power to rejuvenate and heal wounds. When Rapunzel performs a special healing spell, a person must come into contact with her hair for the magic to work. Her hair also emits a glowing golden-yellow light when the magic is activated. Her tears also possess the power of resurrection and healing. It is unknown whether Rapunzel's body possesses the sun's regenerative abilities. It may be that the solar power has merged with her spirit; it seems to bring happiness and harmony wherever she goes, and will activate and produce physical results only when emotions, especially love, are involved. Another interpretation is that channeling her power through her tears actually releases a drop of the sun's light.
