Rapunzel could not see anything beyond the tower in which he was forced to live all his life, because according to his Mother Gothel, there are bad people and cannibals with sharp teeth lurking outside these walls who want only one thing - to harm him. The young man sincerely believed his mother's words and did not seek to leave the tower, spending time with his pet chameleon and his only friend Pascal. He was engaged in drawing, singing, playing chess, rereading the few books at his fingertips many times and dreaming a lot. In particular, he dreamed of one day seeing up close the "floating lights" that appear every night on his birthday. He would turn 18 tomorrow, and he was going to ask his mother to take him to see these "floating lights". But his dreams were not destined to come true. "You'll never get out of here. Promise me." Was the only thing his mother said to him, backing up her words with old arguments that it was not worth tempting fate and going towards the dangers from which the tower protects him so much... And after Gothel left the tower again, events took an unexpected turn - some stranger climbed into the tower. Out of surprise and fear, Rapunzel knocked out the unexpected guest with the help of frying pan, and used his long golden locks to tie the person to a chair, waiting for him to wake up.
