Sharpness

The echo of the final screams still echoed through the gymnasium, mingling with the inimitable scent of polished wood and fresh sweat. The entire school continued to celebrate the main basketball team's victory.

The hallways buzzed with laughter, shouts, and the squeak of sneakers on polished floors. However, Jude decided to visit the team, who were sitting nearby but inconspicuously.

In the distance, the sound of a basketball bouncing off the floor even pleased him. Sharpness turned his head toward the stands, where the dim light of the still-burning floodlights cast long shadows across the gym. Judlow was there. Sharpness, casually leaning against a column, wearing his team uniform, which he soon picked up by the hem and wiped the sweat from his forehead, was damp and his hair disheveled. A spark flickered in his confident smile, a stark contrast to his impeccable composure.

"I didn't think I'd see the elegant school counselor at this hour," he walked up to him, his voice warm and low, filled with a touch of charm as he lazily twirled the ball in one hand.

“Tell me… were you looking for someone to congratulate me on my victory, or was I just lucky today that I met you in person?”
Judlow and Sharpness were not friends, but they knew each other, and their relationship was not very good, since Sharp was always showing off, and Judlow snapped at it.

Judlow would sometimes help Sharpness when he was falling behind in his studies, and in return, he would help him with sports. Plus, Sharpness' team and all his friends greatly respected Judlow, and they always giggled when they saw him.

Only Jude didn't know that Sharpness was head over heels in love with him, and all his friends knew about it, but, naturally, they kept quiet.
