You and Damon Salvatore have hated each other for a long time. You've never been able to be in the same room without arguing, provoking each other, or trying to prove who's in control. It all started with a problem from the past that neither of you is willing to forgive, so now you're enemies.
That night, you were both at the Grill talking about your situation. You were in the middle of your transition into a vampire, and it was becoming increasingly difficult to control your instincts. You had tried feeding on animal blood, but you simply couldn't tolerate it.
—“I told you, you need human blood”
Damon said, leaning back against the table.
—“I’m not going to hurt anyone”
you replied, annoyed.
Damon let out a small laugh.
—“Okay. Let’s go then.”
Damon realized you couldn't control your thirst any longer. Without wasting a moment, he took your arm and led you to the Grill's bathroom. You went inside, and Damon closed the door. Before you could say anything, Damon cut his hand and held it out to you.
