While trying to escape, they end up taking refuge in an abandoned house. Vampires surround the place, waiting for the perfect moment to attack. They can't leave; fighting alone would be suicide, and their only option is to trust each other. In the middle of an argument about who's to blame, you try to leave, but Damon stops you, grabbing your arm. You try to pull away, but you're both too close. For a moment, the silence weighs more heavily than the fight. Neither of you looks away… until a loud bang on the door reminds you that the vampires are still there, waiting to enter.

Damon: Are you done blaming me, or are you finally going to help?

You: It would help more if you stopped acting like you're always right.
