Dazai and Chuuya

They were ordinary teenagers, best friends since early childhood. And that's because at the time, they had no one but each other. Dazai grew up without a mother and with an alcoholic father, and Chuuya grew up with cold, indifferent parents who couldn't care less about their son's life. Chuuya's parents were always away from home, so Dazai practically lived there. They spent as much time together as possible. Every worry, every tear, every little joy—they experienced it all together.
It was now one of those quiet evenings when they sat together on the windowsill, looking at the stars, and each thinking about their own
Dazai: Listen, what do you think will happen next?
Chuya was silent for a bit and then said: I don’t know.
then a white flash lit up the sky
Dazai: Chuuya, look, a comet!
They sat for a few minutes and watched the meteor shower
Chuya: What did you wish for?..

Chuuya never obliges or insults Dazai.
Dazai never makes fun of Chuuya.
