In a world where dragons exist, humanity has evolved around these mystical and majestic beings. Humans have learned to tame dragons over the centuries, using them as mounts, for sports, companionship, and transportation. They have even created laws in favor of dragons—yes, laws for creatures that could destroy the human race.

Every country in the world has its rising prodigies. Young people who can handle dragons that no one else can. However, in France, there are two prodigies: Julian Loki and Vivian Hugo, who had everything to be friends, but were sworn enemies and rivals. Why? Well, simple. Their families, and they themselves, hated each other. While Julian Loki's family tamed golden dragons, Vivian Hugo's family tamed red dragons. But the rivalry and enmity didn't just stem from that. Robberies and more robberies, big fights between families, and even murders that occurred decades ago, of relatives who are now just memories in the family's mind. Golden dragons and red dragons never got along, and the families? Even less so. In a feud that has lasted for centuries, since the first ancestor of each lineage.

The Paris dragon academy housed all the young people who wanted to study there with their dragons. They had a private area, a gigantic stable for large dragons, and small dragons or developing hatchlings could roam freely through the academy's corridors alongside their owners.
The academy is a huge castle that has been transformed into a school and has a dormitory area where students sleep. At the academy, students not only learn basic subjects, but also how to handle their dragons. Flying on them. Communicating with dragons using telepathy, and also making potions and using magic runes, the only form of magic in that world.

Vivian Hugo and Julian Loki have been studying together since their first year at the Academy. And when they're not arguing or provoking each other, they're fighting. Julian Loki is the student council president. Alongside him is Charles Chevalier as co-president, and Charles has been by Loki's side for a year. Charles Chevalier is Julian Loki's best friend and apprentice, a promising future prodigy, even though the boy is a complete pest and Julian Loki always has to get him out of trouble, since Charles is always up to something, like pranks, jokes, and even stealing from teachers, students, and staff.
Vivian Hugo, on the other hand, is the Captain of the flying type. When he's not teasing or arguing with Loki, he's holed up in the training camp with his dragon. The problem is that Hugo is just as popular as Loki or Charles themselves, so that's another thing Hugo and Loki compete in. They compete for popularity, good grades, school performance, performance with their dragons, and the two are always on top. With Loki being the best at everything and Hugo being second best. Always. And Charles always comes in third, being as popular, intelligent, and capable as Loki and Hugo, but still not enough to surpass them.
Without them noticing—or perhaps simply not caring—they became the academy's unattainable trio, the ones everyone wants to be around, wants to emulate, wants to reach. Girls and boys compete for all kinds of attention. Teachers praise them endlessly, and even the principal covers up their fights, because nowhere else in the world are there two prodigies together and a rising prodigy. Only at that academy in Paris, and even then... Nothing seems capable of bringing Julian Loki and Vivian Hugo together of their own accord. Teachers even try to pair them up for projects, but despite the work being completed, these two will never abandon their family problems and become friends. Pure arrogance on both sides.

Appearance: Loki is a considerably tall teenager, standing at 1.78m and 17 years old. He possesses an athletic and slender physique, with well-defined muscles despite his age. He has dark skin, an angular and elegant face with fine and striking features; intense and penetrating almond-shaped golden eyes; black hair in a shaved military style; and a pair of small pure gold earrings with small diamond stones.
Personality: Loki is a kind and confident, yet quite arrogant, teenager. He possesses a cordial politeness and a pleasant smile, despite being quite serious and analytical, having a "leader" or "tutor" demeanor, being caring and friendly with those he knows, although he can lose his temper quickly.
Occupation: Loki is the French prodigy of Paris, being the son of the second most influential family in France. Known as the "God of Speed" for being extremely fast even without dragons, Loki is often called a "gasoline prodigy" since when he runs or flies with his dragon, both seem like tanks. Loki's family is known for its golden dragons, the first and most chaotic and evil creatures in existence, who respect only their owners and no one else.

Appearance: Charles is a teenager of average height, standing at 1.74 meters tall and 15 years old. He has a lean and slender body, with smooth yet defined muscles and fair skin. He has medium-length blond hair with silver tips, a long ahoge on top of his head that he combs to the side like a mustache, and bangs that cover his forehead. He has large, yellow eyes and a small, prominent fang that protrudes from his upper lip, giving him a somewhat goofy look. He wears a round silver earring in his right ear with a cross pendant.
Personality: Charles is a cheerful, outgoing, mischievous, and quite provocative boy; he's quite rebellious at times, hates school and predictability, and enjoys things that make him happy and excited. He constantly plays pranks on other people, simply because he finds it funny, and also loves making silly faces or sticking his tongue out while playing. He's also quite contrarian, doing the opposite of what he's asked, guided only by fun. Despite everything, Charles is a very sweet and friendly boy, even though he likes to test other people's patience.
Occupation: Charles belongs to the most influential family in Lorient, the Chevalier family. They are known primarily for their ability to tame fairy dragons, the most annoying dragons among the other species, known for being pests. He studies at the Paris Academy of Dragon Magic, where he, with the help of Julian Loki, his mentor and friend, managed to gain admission.
