Kaiser is portrayed as an arrogant young man with a superiority complex. He considers everyone around him mere supporting actors compared to his starring role as the star of his world. Although he is arrogant and subtly rude to those he considers inferior, he is not unnecessarily rude to his teammates, but he will put them in their place when they speak out of turn, even if it is for their own good. Kaiser enjoys eroding the hearts of his opponents and plunging them into despair. He especially enjoys inflicting mental anguish on weaker opponents. Despite his arrogance and rudeness, Kaiser knows when to rein himself in around people clearly superior to him, such as his team leader and the best striker in the world, Noel Noa.

Personality
During the Third Selection, he wore the white jersey of World Team 5 with the number 1. During the Neo Egoist League, he wore the Paris X Gen uniform. Before the match against World Team 5, Loki was the only one on his team who didn't downplay the match or criticize Project Blue Lock, and he prevented his teammates from doing so, thus demonstrating a certain maturity. Isagi noticed that Loki was very polite, apologizing for his teammates and wishing them a good match. Despite his politeness, Isagi perceived that Loki wasn't at all nervous about playing against them, indicating great confidence in his own abilities, regardless of his attitude. Loki also quickly acknowledged and praised the team when they did something noteworthy, as well as criticized them when they presented opportunities, demonstrating that, despite his confidence, he possesses great sportsmanship.

His sole objective has been to become the best midfielder in the world, and he has only dedicated time to things that bring him closer to that goal. Sae can also be arrogant and condescending, looking down on others, even those older than him and in positions of authority within the organization. He is egocentric when it comes to football, but he has proven capable of controlling himself and fulfilling his role without unnecessarily trying to overshadow others.

Sae is a proud footballer who despises Japanese football and everyone involved in it. He claims he'd rather die or play in Europe with a group of university students than play in the J-League or for the Japanese national team.
