He is a slightly sticky slime. His hair is light green and lush. His slime color is mostly green, but changes depending on his feelings. He is wearing a white T-shirt and a black summer shirt with white sunflowers. He also wears black shorts and sandals.

The derlord has pale skin, long yellow hair with red streaks, and a cute appearance - sometimes he is mistaken for a woman.

At the beginning of the story, Derlord is presented as a quiet, withdrawn man who lives for himself and does not seek social interaction. He is determined and resourceful, well-versed in the game's mechanics and uses this knowledge to survive. He is not afraid of confrontation with the entity haunting him, openly challenging it.
However, as he descends into this terrifying world, his character undergoes a profound transformation. He becomes nervous and mentally unstable. This is due to his encounter with the King in Yellow—an all-knowing cosmic deity from Robert Chambers's work who grants forbidden knowledge and drives one mad.

Avery and Derlord are friends. Derlord is smarter, more cunning, and much more serious than Avery.

d3rLord runs back through the void, clearly overcome with terror. He decides not to return to the clay-brick tunnel, choosing another one, which again becomes narrower and narrower. Reaching the end, he begins digging into the wall with his ink sac. After some time, he destroys the stone to discover the very shaft where the recording began. There, he begins writing in a book the void has transferred to his inventory. When he finishes, he places it in a chest, and the recording ends.

Avery will later find and read this book.

After reading the book, the d3rlord discovers another secret entrance behind the bookshelves, which leads to another clay brick tunnel, and from there to a cave.

This cave branches into two parts, and d3rLord goes left.

The cave opens into a void, which d3rLord briefly avoids, but then stops avoiding. However, as soon as he touches any block in this void, his inventory begins to shuffle.

Continuing his movement into the void, d3rLord finds himself in front of two tall yellow gates, seemingly hovering in the depths.

d3rLord slowly approaches the gate and looks inside to see something, but the footage is censored by a black rectangle, covering everything d3rLord saw.

After 17 minutes of complete silence and inactivity, d3rLord announces that he has indeed deciphered the message, but he decides not to reveal it, simply stating that it was a "nice poem." After attempting to solve the lever puzzle, he decides to simply dig through the door, finding himself in another clay-brick tunnel that also leads to a cave, but a different one. d3rLord3 finds himself in the Village, an abandoned town with a fountain and an angel statue in the center. d3rLord wanders aimlessly through the Village, searching empty chests and barrels for any clues. He even digs in the fountain, but finds nothing. Climbing onto the statue's head in despair, d3rLord3 spots a lonely house in the distance. Upon reaching the house, d3rLord discovers a secret basement where he reads a book about the King and how the Villagers wanted him to come.

d3rLord, his suspicions confirmed, reaches the single point indicated by the three signs—a clay brick beneath an artificial tree. He digs down and falls into a tunnel identical to the first one he'd already passed through, also made of clay bricks. Reaching the end of the tunnel, he finds himself in a labyrinth, which he easily navigates.

In front of him rises a huge cave, in the wall of which, above the massive gate, some kind of cipher is carved, and in the ground there is a puzzle with a lever, most likely intended for opening the door located under the cipher.

d3rLord3 then ventures into the artificial forest in search of a path. He notices three signs that seem to point in a certain direction, but before continuing, d3rLord returns to the Oasis, checks the chunk loading trap, and apparently confirms that no one has followed him.

However, the backup trap proved that someone was indeed watching him, as the grass from the grass block had spread to the dirt block. This means something had loaded that block, and it was smart enough to recognize the hopper trap and refill it with items.

d3rLord then falls into what appears to be an underground lake and dives into the water, continuing his journey into the left tunnel, which opens into a giant body of water with countless identical tunnels. He hears cavernous sounds and whispers again and burrows into the wall, finding a small air pocket to hide in. When the whispers fade in the distance, d3rLord dives into the water again. He chooses a random tunnel and swims into it. As he progresses, the tunnel becomes narrower and narrower until it widens, and d3rLord finally emerges from the water in the middle of an Oasis, a body of water surrounded by the same artificial forest structure he saw in the first massive cave. d3rLord, convinced someone is watching him, blocks the tunnel he swam through, then sets a trap to load chunks, a hopper with items, and a chest. He goes a little further and places a block of dirt next to a block of grass to check if his intuition is correct.

The cave then opens into a vast garden, filled with seemingly artificially grown trees stacked on top of each other. He continues his journey into a clay-brick tunnel, but as he moves deeper into the tunnel, a pair of torches disappears behind him. Then another pair, and so on until all the torches in the tunnel are gone. Then d3rLord hears cave sounds, followed by whispers in his ear. Terrified, he runs to the end of the tunnel.

d3rLord3's journey begins in a Minecraft world that already existed when he installed Minecraft on his laptop. He descends into a shaft he built before recording and, while cutting his way through a wall, discovers what appears to be a cave. Exploring these caves, he finds moss covered in strange small spots, and then what appears to be trees and shrubs. Descending deeper into the cave, he discovers more and more patches of moss, grass, shrubs, and tree-like structures.

A Minecraft player discovered a pre-existing world on the laptop he was using for recording. While exploring it, he encountered anomalies: underground forests with moss and oak trees at great depths, artificial caves with giant gates made of logs and mud bricks, strange sounds, and the sensation of someone's presence.
