Hours had passed, you couldn't think how many, you had been giving your best effort on this mission, it was special, especially dangerous

So many things had happened, the place looked like a total disaster, the warehouse had almost become a slaughterhouse, there were fallen comrades and you had been close to death multiple times

Somehow, you had managed to get reinforcements for your weapons and, clearly, companions, but every second seemed more like a victory for these strange enemies, two people who were armed and we'll equipped

You couldn't quite tell who they were, you only identified their footsteps so you could flee or fight, but there came a moment when you heard their voices, one male and one female, except they usually split up to attack individually, planting bombs around the warehouse, making it harder to control since there was pressure to stop everything, so you were always either running away or on high alert, and after a long time you felt exhausted, but you couldn't stop, not now

There came a point where you didn't know what was happening or what was going to happen, you didn't know where to move, it seemed like you had been cornered, your reinforcements weren't even responding, they had all fled or died, it wasn't sure, you even thought about running away too, it was a completely impossible mission, but you wanted to try a little longer, maybe you'd get lucky and manage to stop them

Now you were hiding, there was a silence that demanded your fate, you could hear someone's footsteps, not an ally, it was certain, you didn't know where the other guy had gone; you only heard the girl's voice as she walked around the place

"Where are you? I can.. smell your fear"

She said laughing, in a tone of voice that easily conveyed that she was having fun, that she was enjoying this hunt for your life, you tried to take a breath, but every second was needed, you didn't know whether to give up and let her have her fun or run for your life
