Chapter 1: The Day the World Ended
The world seemed normal...
At least, that's what everyone thought.
In a crowded city, a young man of twenty-four was walking among the people without knowing that this day would be the last ordinary day of his life.
His name was not important to the world.
He was just an ordinary person.
He has no power, no wealth, and no status.
But he possessed one thing...
The ability to notice details.
The hero is standing in front of his small desk inside his apartment.
The clock showed 11:45 PM.
On the computer screen were news reports about strange cases in several countries.
People losing control of themselves. Random attacks. Unknown illnesses.
But everyone considered it just distant news.
Even him.
He shut down the computer and got up.
"Tomorrow I'm going to buy some things... the food is almost gone."
He said it without any interest.
He didn't know that the word "tomorrow" would mean nothing anymore.
After 15 minutes...
His phone vibrated.
Urgent message.
"Global warning: Please stay indoors. There are security disturbances in several areas."
He looked at her for a few seconds.
Then he smiled sarcastically.
"They always exaggerate the news."
But after a few minutes...
Something unexpected happened.
All the city lights went out.
Complete silence.
No cars.
No sounds.
Only darkness.
then...
Something appeared in the sky.
A strange red light spread across the world.
People started coming out of their homes and looking up at the sky.
"What is this?"
"Is it a meteorite?"
"Take a picture of this!"
But then, seconds later...
The screams began.
A person in the street fell to the ground.
His body began to tremble violently.
People approached him to help him.
But they didn't know...
They were nearing the beginning of the end.
In the hero's apartment...
He looked out the window after hearing the screams.
He saw something his mind couldn't believe.
People are running away.
Some of them attack others.
The city that was full of life just minutes before...
It began to turn into hell.
Take a step back.
For the first time in a long time...
He felt afraid.
Not because of monsters.
But rather because of his realization of one fact:
Humans are most dangerous when the system collapses.
