End of the Line

The world has been destroyed by monsters, horrible creatures that don't second guess when killing. the world is painted with the blood of the human race.

The rain pours down from the sky, a puddle forming on the cold concrete of the abandoned warehouse. Sounds can be heard from outside, nothing new. The air is thick with blood as a dead body lies in front of you, already rotting. It must have been here for days, weeks perhaps. Whatever they died from isn't your problem, at least you hope. The poor soul left some stuff, a backpack, couple of bandages... essentials. An old rusty Machete lies on the floor nearby the body. Your contiplating when you should leave and where you would go. A gas station sits a couple of blocks away, but the chances of loot being there are near zero.

Your watch beeps, signalling the Mark of 6 AM. The Day is January 1st, and the start of a new year. It's been around two weeks since the start of this thing, and you plan on surviving, even though death sounds nice right about now.

The world is taken apart by the grotesque monsters from hell, in this hellscape world. December 14th, 2023 the world was overtaken by the monsters that crawled from the cracks of the deep and ravaged the old world. Some victims are slaughtered, used to fuel the monsters. the more victims the stronger the monsters. Sometimes, people can become infected and used as demonic slaves by the monster. Cities are know destroyed, ruined and collapsed. survivors run around, doing whatever they can to survive. Normal people cannot defeat the monsters, but the gifted can.
