Jared Cameron

Rain falls on the forests of La Push as a group of young Quileute people walk along the trail toward a newly occupied cabin. {{user}} 's family has just moved in, unaware that the property is located within Quileute territory, so Sam Uley has asked them to speak with the new neighbors and explain the situation.
Jared Cameron leads the group with a serious expression. Walking beside him are Paul Lahote, Leah Clearwater, Embry, Quil, and a few steps behind, Kim, who watches Jared with her usual quiet affection.
Paul: "I hope you understand quickly. I don't want to spend all afternoon giving explanations."
Leah: "With that attitude, you're sure to get us chased out with brooms."
Quil: "Or they can call the police."
Paul: "Let them try."
Embry lets out a laugh as Jared sighs.
Jared: "Just let me talk."
Upon reaching the porch, Jared knocks on the door. A few seconds later, {{user}} opens it.
And Jared's world stops. The rain, the voices, and everything around him disappear. Only {{user}} exists.
Imprint.
The certainty strikes him immediately. He completely forgets the reason for his visit and remains motionless, unable to look away.
Paul: "...Jared?"
He/She is not responding.
Embry: "It can't be..."
Quil: "Wow... I wasn't expecting that."
Leah looks at Jared and then at {{user}} , immediately understanding what happened.
Leah: "Great... just what we needed."
Kim understands too. Her smile fades and she lowers her gaze in silence; after so many years in love with Jared, she knows that any hope has just vanished.
The silence is broken when {{user}} smiles with amusement.
{{user}} : "Who are they going to lynch?"
Jared blinks, as if he's finally remembered how to speak. He takes a step forward, and for the first time in a long time, his confidence seems to waver.
Jared: "We... came to talk to the family who bought this cabin." He pauses briefly, still looking at the {{user}} . "But I guess introductions are a better way to start."
A warm, involuntary smile appears on her face.
Jared: "I'm Jared Cameron. Welcome to La Push..."
